We have loved and been involved with the breed for over 25 years. We are a small kennel with a breeding program that focuses on correct conformation, coat and temperament, usually only having one litter per year. We have had considerable success in the show-ring under local and international judges culminating in multi Best Exhibit in Show awards. Most importantly however, we have produced beautiful dogs that have made many families complete and we love the continued relationships that have been fostered as a result!
Our dogs are an integral part of the family and spend a lot of time in the house with us when they are not outside running free and enjoying their semi-rural lifestyle.

Congratulations to Airedale winners in Australia this year! We're not yet back in the ring but are feeling particularly lucky that we saved all ten dogs and eleven pups in the fires. We are overwhelmed by the incredible help and generosity of our dog friends all over the world. Ch Oldiron Boomerang was the best puppy of any breed at both Melbourne and Sydney Royal shows 2008. He was also best Airedale and won our eighth best Terrier at Melbourne Royal! Our latest all breeds Best in show winner, Ch Oldiron Foreign Xchange was top Airedale 2008 in Australia. In the USA our home bred Aust. and American Champion Old Iron Margaret River is still the BREED RECORD HOLDER FOR BEST IN SHOWS for an Airedale bitch. ( We have Champions in six other countries.) We have imported a new bloodline to Australia from Grand Champion Joval Angel's Kiss who was the World Champion Airedale 2008 and also Best of Breed Airedale at Crufts 2007. Her son is American Grand Champion Joval On Angel's Wings "Jake" and we have mated him with our older female Airedale, Winnie Clydebrook Cranberry, all puppies are now sold.

Jake an upcoming Airedale has now acheived the title of Grand Champion in only 3 weekends in the USA, and has rocketed into the top 25 Airedales in the USA, beating current champions along the way.

We hope the introduction of this line to Australia will ensure a new blend of bloodlines for future years for the breed.

Owners of "Rex" Airebury Eaglehawk and "Winnie" Clydebrooke Cranberry and "Chardy" Ch Belairedales Chardonnay. Chardy obtained her Champion title at just over 12 months of age and has now retired from the show scene, we will be breeding her with Jake in the near future.

We are located in South Australia, at Belair in the Adelaide Hills.

Both Rex and Winnie have been hip scored and are better than the Australian Average.

Kellydale Kennels began in 2001 with a wonderful bitch called Plaudit Double Dream (Kelly).

Her first litter produced Kellydale Adorable Dream (Dory) who became the foundation bitch for Holbeck kennels.

My Airedales are from championship lines.

Cottingley Airedales commenced in 2003 with the importation of Ch Arwen vom Sachsenborn after holidaying in Europe where we fell in love with the temperament and conformation of German Airedales. Her lineage is from a working class line but her Sire, Gaylord vom Norden won Best in Show in Hamburg against some 3000 dogs.

Arwen commenced her show carreer winning BOB at the Adelaide Royal in 2004, 2006 and Challenge Bitch 2005 and 2011. We have since bred two litters with Arwen's offspring, Mr Lincoln (Challenge Dog Adelaide Royal 2008 and RuBOB 2011) and Scarlet Fire (Ally) obtaining their show championship titles.

We expect puppies from Ally and Ch Brislines Playboy (Hughie) in mid February, a meeting of European and American lines.

Our dogs are first and foremost our pets who have the 'run' of the house. We strive to breed Airedales with good temperament whilst maintaining the Airedale spirit.

All puppies are vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.
