We are the quiet achievers. Showing and achieving to breed to the standard. Our breeding have participated in Sledding/Gig Racing, Backpacking, Obedience and the Big Screen (featured in BeastMaster Series).

The world of showing alaskan malamutes, started in 1998. A small kennel just 15 minutes outside rockhampton. My dogs are loved pets first, brought up in a loveing household enviroment, and then show dogs.

I got my first malamute in 1990 and fell in love with the breed.
I breed mainly for myself for show dogs/breeding program and desex the other puppies which are sold as pets to approved homes.
I am not BIG in the show scene but I am BIG on doing the best for my dogs!
My Mals are eye tested, thyroid, hip and elbow checked before being bred from. They are also screened for the Poly Neuropathy gene.
All pups come with a starter puppy pack and lots of information on the breed.

There is American, Canadian & Australian Champion, Grand Champion & Supreme's, behind all my dogs. Yrs have been spent importing semen & dogs from Canada, America, England, Russia & Belarus, & careful bloodline research - to weed out health issues to improve our breed.
I only breed really when I want to add to my own pack, and dont breed too often, because I always end up keeping a pup... or 2. They are my babies first, and show dogs second. I barely show due to work commitments.
I drove them all across the country, from Perth to Queensland, in order to find acreage for them. We don't have kennels, and they all play with the cows, and swim in the dam. My dogs are very well balanced, also as I am qualified in behaviour.
Most my mals run together, which is quite rare, and all help raise the pups, so they are very well socialised when going to their new forever homes.
All puppies come vaccinated, wormed, health checked, micro-chipped and registered with Dogs Queensland. Also supplied with a puppy pack, and life long support. Intestate travel can easily be arranged at your cost.
Waiting lists are done for all litters, after you complete a puppy enquiry form.

I have been a Dogs Qld member since 1995 when my husband surprised me with our first purebred Pedigreed Siberian Husky.
For all these years our family have been loved and owned by our Siberian Huskies (Tularrahblue) and 4 Alaskan Malamutes from TOP WINNING BEST IN SHOW AND IN SHOW BLOODLINES (bred by others), that have been campaigned to successfully gain their Australian Champion titles having much fun and success in the Show Ring along the way.
This is a new beginning for me breeding under the AAWOO prefix and my aim is for the CONTINUAL betterment of a BREED that takes time, patience and commitment but most of all LOVE as this is not a breed for everyone.
