Zollikon Bernese Mountain Dogs are a small kennel which focuses on breeding strong, sound and healthy bernese.

We are owner of and home to Adelaide Royal Best of Breed winner 2011 Multi BISS CH Zanzebern Cosi Fan Tutte.

Zollikon's foundation bitch was the beautiful BISS CH Zanzebern Talisker, the first bernese bitch to be awarded BIS in Australia or New Zealand. Our bitch "Cosi' BISS CH Zanzebern Cosi Fan Tutte was the third bitch to be awarded Best In Specialty Show. We are proud that our two girls were awarded the highest of honours under International Breed Specialist Judges. Issie has provided the foundation for our kennel.

All our breeding stock are hip and elbow scored,hold current clear eye certificates, are DNA tested VWD CLEAR, DNA tested for DM and most are Australian Champions. Puppy and breed enquiries are always welcome.

Youngest ever BMD to win RUBIS in New Zealand, he had won 3x RUBIS before turning 2 years of age. Wulf is the most highly awarded Bernese Mountain Dog in NZ of all time.

Blassis is the home of MRUBIS NZ CH Vevey Beowulf v Blassis (imp Aust), bred by Lindsay Thomson, 2011 and 2012 rising star Number 1 in the Utility group and a multiple in show winner, incl 3 x All Breeds RUBIS. Wulfy is dogzonline's top BMD both in breed and All Breeds, and ofcourse top rising star in 2012.


Also home to CH Anahera Noblesse Oblige, breeder Lisa Stevenson, 2011 BOB and All Breeds leader, a multi in group winner with in show as well best and reserve in group wins to her name from the junior class.

2012 sees our young girl Zollikon Foreign Affair v Blassis (imp Aust) make her entry into the show ring. 'Filou' has won multiple baby in group awards and is a challenge winner from the baby & puppy classes. She was bred by Emma Sankey from Victoria and is a half sister to our Wulf. Filou was number 2 rising star Bernese in 2012 and titled at 13 months of age.

Both Ripley and Filou are often handled to their wins (incl group wins) by my 10 year old daughter Pascale; a credit to their super temperaments!

We look forward to introducing Wulf x Ripley offspring Cadre Noir and Clair de Lune van Blassis in 2013.

We have had wonderful success with CH Schallenberg Sweetest Thing - Dante - Top Winning Bernese in New Zealand for 2008 & 2009 and she has achieved numerous in group awards also.Dante is also the only Bernese in New Zealand to be awarded with the Platinum Certificate of Merit (100 challenges)!!

BIS NZ CH Sennen Maden Heaven (Imp Aust) - Sienna obtained her NZ Championship title against good competition and has had huge success in the show ring with many in Group awards, winning BEST OF BREED at the NATIONAL DOG SHOW in October 2010 with 21 entries and she was only 13 months of age. And then again in 2011 with 22 entries Sienna again wins BOB at Nationals (Judge was Kim LeBlanc - Canada) and Sienna was then short listed for Group!!
Sienna wins BEST IN SHOW (Judge: Mrs C HAller (Can)- Eukanuba Sevens and then Best of Breed and short listed at Nationals (2012) third year in a row!! Our young girl Delta was awarded Reserve of Breed.
Sienna was also the Top Winning Bernese in 2010,2011& 2012(Bernese Mountain Dog Club NZ (inc) - Top Dog.
