Beautiful Bichon Frise have been a part of my life since 2000.
Although only relatively new to the show ring with the very first show entered in August 2005, to date have achieved a number of in group wins and titled 2 champions.
For sometime now I have admired 2 American Bichon Frise - Joline Shiloh and Devon Puff n Stuff ( a bitch that won over 50 BIS). It was with great delight to find that these lines could be introduced without leaving the country through 2 special dogs bred by Richard Beauchamp(USA),imported and incorporated so successfully by Gerri Greig of Tejada Kennels into her breeding program. These 2 imported dogs can be viewed in the bichon frise past champions section. In 2007 these lines were introduced to Kelstro with the purchase of puppies from Gerri Greg.
A big thankyou to Gerri Greig for trusting us with some wonderful puppies, Kiki and Harry (from the multi Best in Show winnners Aust Ch Tejada Made U Look and Aust Ch Tejada Trust Your Heart) and Glad. Although Harry is no longer owned by me, I have retained some of his offspring and he will continue to be used in my breeding program when appropriate.

This is Australian Champion Yendale Humphreys Dylan "Dylan" he has been awarded several class in group and was short listed several times for best in group from puppy class to Junior class were he is now being shown. He is well and truly on his way to being an Australian Champion. We show and breed Bichon Frisé, our toy and Miniature Poodles are now retired. We have been breeding dogs for over 40 years; I am also involved in teaching obedience up to and including open class. At the moment we have limited litters and pups only go to show homes or approved pet homes. Our breeding program has been worked out ahead and we have gone to the trouble to purchase new lines to add to our own to try and better the breed. We have sold pups to New Zealand, Perth, Cairns, Tasmania, Melbourne, Canberra & Sydney.

The Bichon Frise is a small, sturdy, white dog whose merry temperament is evidenced by his plumed tail carried jauntily over the back and his dark-eyed inquisitive expression. This is a breed that has no gross or incapacitating exaggerations. One of the most desirable qualities in a Bichon is the beautiful temperament.

The Bichon Frise is an affectionate, lively companion dog who gets along well with other animals and with children. He prefers to spend all of his time with his family. He is intelligent and outgoing, and he loves to play and clown around, but he is not nervous. Although not a guard dog, he is a watchdog who announces strangers.

In some breeds male dogs may be aggressive and females more subdued, but there is no such distinction in the Bichon. Male or female is equal in the Bichon Frise.

So if you are looking for a very Well-adjusted, Non-allergy, Fun loving, Affectionate Dog, then you can’t go past our puppies!
