Congratulations to Phillipa Micklem on Aust Grand Ch Reynosa It's My Party (Stephanie) winning BEST IN SHOW at the Chihuahua National Show in Adelaide October 2010.

We also proudly announce that another of our long coat bitches, Ch Reynosa Lauren Jones, won Bitch Reserve Challenge and Runner up to Best of Breed. Some of my other dogs won or were placed in classes.

We also proudly acknowledge the Runner Up to Best in Show at the National and Runner Up Best of Breed to him, were both sired by Ch Reynosa Time For A Tosca.

A great outcome for REYNOSA at our National. We are the only kennel in Australia to have bred two national BEST IN SHOW winners, having also won the 2002 national with Ch Reynosa Tosca Jones.

We are a small kennel established for nearly 40 years. Breeding mostly to provide replacement for our own small show team.
Multi in group and in show winners.

Ou Kennel Prefix means a lot to us and we value our honesty and integrity.
We do not like to sell Puppies at 8 weeks as we cannot guarantee what they will turn out like in regard to type,temperament and size for the Show ring, and as a pet if someone is looking for a "Specific" looking Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are known to go through many changes while growing. What might be a beautiful baby could change while growing, and vice versa.

I began my love affair with Chihuahua’s at the young age of 18 months old when my Grandfather gave me a lovely little black and white long coat named patchy.

I was born into a house of dog enthusiasts having parents that bred and showed Bull Terriers, they commenced with the Dabews line under the “Dantaro prefix” which went back to some of the most well known English lines.

In 1976 my parents met Jill North (nee Mills) of Centavo Kennels and purchased a smooth coat male and you guess it 12 months later my first show bitch, she was the most beautiful chocolate smooth coat with a divine head and movement the only problem is that she enjoyed the sofa far more than the show ring. Thinking back that little bitch was way before her time and could give any chihuahua today a run for their money.

Over the years I have owned and showed some beautiful Chihuahuas both long and smooth and have had good success both in and out of the ring. I breed on occasion for the show ring as this will always be my first love.

I have been very successful in Melbourne within my breed having won many Group, In Group and In Show awards both All Breeds and Specialty.

I share the TapDogs Prefix with my mum Robyn who has gone from 25 years in Bull Terriers to Papillon’s.

My 5 year old son Sebastian is showing the same keen interest I did as a child and is counting down the days until he is old enough to show.

At EEVYON, we are a small devoted Show Home of both Long and Smooth coats, and our dogs are a part of the family, first and foremost. Yes, they have full run of the house! EEVYON is named so, because of the Pokemon EEVEE and her "evolutions" for 2 reasons; firstly to remind me that when my Team and I are out there in the show ring, we are out there to have FUN! And secondly Pokemon means "pocket monster". what more do I need to say *GRIN*

My breeding program strives to produce and augment physical soundness and enhance the saucy assertive temperament that is characteristic of this beautiful breed, but with training and socialising, some manners are developed. This ensures all my dogs are friendly and confident in their individual personalities, and are devoted to their chosen loved ones at home.

We are very select as to what is shown and bred, so unfortunately some puppies will never see the show ring. We ask that families have the time and love to provide these beautiful babies with a secure and stable home. Being a "show home" we do not believe it is fair that the "show team" gets to spend the day out, while the "pet pack" stays at home. However we have a vigorous screening process to ensure our babies get the best start to their new life, and ensure that the family is right for the dog.
