Established in 1999. We are breeders of Champions in conformation (show), Tracking and Rally Obedience, multiple Dual Champions (show & tracking) and home to the history making, most titled male GSP in Australian breed history - Triple Champion (T & RO) Fourjays Enter the Dragon CDX ORA ET (Kaleb).

We have bred many other performance titled GSPs including CCD, CD, CDX, UD obedience title holders, a GSP National Best in Trial Obedience winner (and owned another), a Royal Obedience, State Obedience trial winner & State Obedience title holder, rally-o, agility/jumping and tracking title holders, as well several rough shooting companions (duck, deer & rabbit). Breeder of the first Rally Obedience titled GSP in Australia.

Strong emphasis on health & welfare and breeding for the all round GSP, focusing on all aspects of what this wonderful breed was developed for. All breeding dogs are fully health tested with clearances available on request. We provide full support and advice for all our owners, for the lifetime of their dog and even though we have only bred a small number of litters, have had several owners return to us for their 2nd and subsequent GSPs. Renowned for the longevity, health and temperament of our own dogs, we believe in our dogs being family first and foremost and thus, they remain here with us FOR LIFE.

Fenrik German Shorthaired Pointers have the backing of 50 years experience in the breed - in the obedience ring, show ring, retrieving/gundog trials and, over the last 25 years, in agility trials. Sound healthy dogs and temperaments are necessary. Our dogs are superb athletes who compete at the highest level in agility. They love to train and play with us, and yet, happy to lounge around and relax when it is not play time. Ideal family pets for the active family, great with kids and easy to care for.

As a vet we give our pups the best start to a long and healthy life. As dog trainers, we know the importance of the early weeks of up bringing to create a cheeky outgoing confident pup that is unlikely to have behavioural issues.

I have been actively involved in all aspects of this wonderful breed for over 35 years including showing, obedience and Gundog work.
I am a life member of The GSP Society of NSW Inc. as well as being involved in many clubs. I have had the pleasure of designing logos and the like for many clubs over the years, including DOGS NSW, ANKC and Golden Retriever Clubs throughout Australia.

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored and health tested.
While we only breed sparingly, we are very passionate about our how our puppies are raised and trained. I have been very fortunate over the years to know others who have taught me well and shared their knowledge and experience with me.

We are a small kennel located in the Hawkesbury area of NSW and have been involved with GSPs for over 40 years. Dogs we have bred have been successful in the show ring, obedience, tracking, Rally, scent work and various other dog sports.
Our puppies are raised in a happy, loving environment, they have lots of time in the house, running on our acreage and are well socialised. All our puppies are health checked, microchipped, vaccinated and are fed on Advance dog food.
We have had a long friendship with Moya and Rob Howarth of Seltsam Kennels and thank them for all their support and guidance. We have also been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to import semen from Barleyarch Kennels in the UK and thank Sue and Martin Harris for their kindness in allowing some of their "boys" to come to us in Australia. Milangimbi kennels purchased a GSP female puppy in 1984 with the purpose a gun dog for hunting. As I was showing my Border Collies I decided to enter Cassie (Legunro Calypso) as well. Cassie attained her Aust. Championship title beating top show winning dogs and was also the most amazing hunting dog on ducks and quail.
Cassie produced many many champions and multi In Group and In Show winners.. Other bitches that have made their homes at Milangimbi over the years include Am. Ch. & Aust. Ch. NMK'S Celebrity V Sibelstein (Imp. USA): Dam of 3 Milangimbi Champions. Eugen Mustang Sally and the black and white bitch Pinpoint Abby.

The next chapter was with the purchase of the brown female puppy from N.Z. Neut. Ch. Shenandoah Eyre E.T. (Imp. NZL). Sassy is a super gun dog and the dam of two champion and many hunting, agility dogs and family pets.
I have retained a Liver and White female puppy from Sassy's last litter. Ch. Milangimbi Luv Is In The Eyre E.T. Jessie is sired by the stunning Aust Gr Ch & Canadian Champion Flower Creek Takn Care of Business (Imp USA)

Adligjager Kennels are a small family kennel that breeds only every one-two years. We breed for temperament, quality & versatility of the breed.

Our dogs/puppies are bred for hunting in the field, obedience trials and conformation shows. Our puppies are raised in the family home & are well socialised also. We provide breeder support for the lifetime of the puppy & will answer any questions that you may have.
