Both parents have done well in the show ring, both receiving their Ch titles last year. Great Danes have held my heart since I was a little girl. I have been involved with Danes since 2011, and after learning the ropes and the breed, Eleganser Great Danes have entrusted me with a lovely male puppy. Spruce has made himself right at home with my other Dane, Swedish Vallhunds and cats.

At Venustus Great Danes, nothing is more important than the health, happiness and security of our Danes. They are our family and we love them. One of the primary motivations for our breeding program is so others can get to enjoy the love, trust and humor that only a Great Dane can provide.
We breed selectively and ethically . We have been registered breeders for over 20years and had 8 litters in that time. We do not believe in producing litter after litter to make money or meet demand . We breed when the timing is right for us and our Danes. We have been planning and breeding for this litter since 2010. This has included importing a bitch from the United States of America, living in the US for 3 months and developing relationships with many well established and respected Harlequin breeders. This includes Riverwoods and Saravilla. We have attended a number of the Great Dane Club of America (GDCA) National Shows. This also included creating and sponsoring the Best In Specialty Show Trophy and Swarovski beaded collars for the GDCA Rescue raffle at a number these shows. We have sponsored the NSW BISS trophy.
We do participate in conformation dog show.

Borhunter Great Danes take time and patience, a lot of research and countless hours are spent making the right decision on who we breed from.
Our fur kids are health tested and campaigned in the show ring, travelling interstate to look at our breed campaigning in the flesh, but most of all, they are essential members of our households, where you can find them warming the rug or sprawling out on the lounge.
Borhunter Great Danes was established in 2000 with very limited litters as we feel that if there isn’t a place on our lounge for one of our puppies then we won’t breed until there is.
Borhunter Great Danes has achieved many other performance titles also, showing diversity in its breeding.
Borhunter Great Danes is a joint effort of J Boreham & G Robinson. Both of us are passionate about our breed and carefully planning our next litter.

This magnificent Great Dane named Otis was one of the most expensive Great Danes to ever come to Australia and was heavily shown with extreme success in the United States. His blood today still runs in Hanselmann bred dogs. We have exported to 7 countries and have sent dogs to every state of Australia. Our dogs are bred for superb temperament, superior intelligence & correct conformation.
