Mimolabs have the beautiful and clever Milo, who whelped 9 health black puppies on 11th May, and are ready for their forever homes in the July school holidays. We are members of Dogs Queensland and are committed to responsible breeding (membership number 4100195235).

Milo (Marsagan Milo of Loch Na Moine - chocolate dam) and the sire Ch. Wynstream Heez the Boss (of Mikellilabs - a yellow boy) have great hip and elbow scores (sire hips 3/4, elbows 0/0, and dam hips 3/3, elbows 0/0) and have had their genetic testing. Milo lives on over an acre and the puppies will be socialised with another labrador, chickens and our family.
Puppies will be wormed every second week, have a vet check at 6 weeks, microchipped and have genetic testing.

As a school principal, at the height of covid I was able to engage my Labradors within the school environment. Their qualities of wanting to be around people came to the fore and certainly made a difference to students with significant needs. Waytogame Labrador Retrievers is a family-based kennel located in Canberra. We proudly support a line of pure bred Labrador Retrievers backed by generations of selective breeding. We breed true type, healthy labs with a great temperament that make them an excellent family dog and lifelong companion.

Since 2002, Heather had successfully trained and titled her Labradors in the show ring as well as in dog sports - obedience trialling, rally obedience, and agility. She has also enjoyed training and competing in tracking and the retrieving ability test for gundogs. Heather is a life member and volunteer at Canberra’s oldest dog training club. In 2004 she qualified as an instructor and instructs all levels of behaviour training at the Club. As a strong supporter of modern, positive motivation training all her dogs are raised using force free, rewards-based training methods.

Our dogs are DNA tested, hip and elbow x-rayed and eyes are certified. Copies of health papers are available on request. Our dogs will only be placed into suitable ‘forever’ homes where they are going to be loved, trained, and cared for all their life. Potential owners need to be prepared to provide information about their home and family life before we agree to home one of our Waytogame Labradorable puppies with them.

We don’t intend to ever be big time breeders but the breeding we do comes from years of experience and complimented by the guidance and advice from some of the best Labrador breeders in Australia and England.

Our dogs and puppies live on 120 acres and are exposed to and socialised with chickens, sheep, cows and a horse. They are showered in love from our children and larger family.
