Monterrez Schipperkes was established in 1993. Since that time We have owned or bred 9 English Champions,2 Irish Champions, 8 Australian Champions & 2 Australian Grand Champions.We are the breeder of the youngest Grand Champion in the history of the breed. We have bred Speciality best in Show winners in the UK and Australia. We have also bred a Crufts Best of Breed winner and another Crufts Challenge Winner.We are the only kennel to win an All Breeds Best in Show in Ireland with a Schipperke. Our Australian Schipperkes which are full English breeding have won multiple best in groups, best in shows and class in group/show.Since our first local homebred pups have entered the showring in mid 2008 they have been consistant winners and have been admired by many judges and cause positive comment wherever they are shown.2009 saw us breeding and owning the No 1 Schipperke in Australia. With temperament being a priority, my schipperke's get on well with children and the elderly. This is Missy, Sunny, Oscar, Red and Ebony thay have the best personality. All of them have a good thick harsh coat with good undercoat, like a Schip should!! Eventhough thay live in Q.L.D. Sunny, Oscar and Missy have a full tail & Ebony and Red have a natural "Bobtail".

OUR STORY

In 1998 Philip and Paula Semmel were granted the stud prefix Hapipet and had their first litter. This produced the superb Schipperke Grand Champion Hapipet Hobbits Pride.

Hapipet uses the ANKC standard for Schipperkes as its breeding target. It breeds infrequently to re-stock.

Hapipet Kennels also seeks to demonstrate the ability of the Schipperke to be a canine all-rounder via its involvement in Conformation, Obedience, Agility and Endurance.

At Hapipet Kennels each Schipperke is a member of the household, which provides a productive atmosphere for socialisation and the development of excellent temperaments.

Philip and Paula have committed themselves to the cause of the Schipperke in Australia, serving at various times as President, Vice-President and Secretary of the Schipperke Club of Victoria. Philip has been editor of VicSchipp magazine since 1998. Philip is also current President of the Non Sporting Dog Club of Victoria and an Obedience Instructor at Northern Obedience Dog Club.

Adorin Schipperkes is a new kennel specialising in fine quality Schipperkes and breeding friends for life. Here at Adorin, our aim is to produce the all round Schip, with an emphasis on fine confirmation, a wonderful outgoing temperament, and good health and vitality. We aim to breed versatile Schipperkes that can do anything their owners would like them to. We do not compromise on health, temperament, or structure. Our dogs are raised and housed in a loving home environment and are all well socialised and well trained. No kennel runs here!!! We take part in confirmation shows, Agility and Obedience trials, Endurance tests and have trained in the art of Tracking.

Shadownoir Schipperkes was established in 1985 with the purchase of Pickles(CH Vonkaras Moonmagic)and in early 1986 with Pepsi (CH Vonkaras Moon Shadow). There was no looking back, what a great pair of girls, both lived to grand old age and slept on the bed from the moment they could jump up there. There followed a bitch from Skye Scobles, Pudding (CH Cantata Pitti Sing).

Then in partnership with Fay Philp a boy from NZ , CH Brinn of Alderan and from the UK CH Radash Captain Cook. All the while the Schipps were being shown with good success, many classes in Group and classes in Show. Schipprkes had been denied CCs at Sydney Royal for many years, Pickles was the first bitch for about 5 yrs to be granted the CC with her daughter Shadownoir Moonlighting also winning the CC and BOB a couple of years later.

Many dogs have been and gone in the ensuing years with there being some firm favorites along the way, CH Shadownoir Wellngtn Bear being my first BISS winner even though other Shadownoir dogs had achieved this award. Ch Beljala Rock and Roll was another favorite winning BOB at Melbourne Royal at 7 months old.

There are not many Shadownoir Schipps in the ring anymore as breeding has slowed to a litter every couple of years, my youngest show dogs at the moment being 4 years old in May 2011.
