It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have been asked to let
you all know that Bickley at the grand age of 12 years is now at rest.
22/8/1997 - 7/3/2009 Aust Grand Champion Toptaurus Crow Out Loud
12 months ago Bickley became very ill, after being poisoned and at that
time nearly lost his life. He had amazing strength to fight his way back
and then to finally compete at his 9th Battle of the Champions, where he
was applauded by the people who knew him and were glad to see him compete
once again as he flew around the ring to make that trademark leap in the
air he used to do after his workouts. Unfortunately he never really returned
to his normal self.
This dog was a giant among show dogs holding Stafford records that will be
difficult to beat including 110 Best in Groups. .... Just alone in the
last 2 years of his show life he was awarded 5 Best in Shows & 11 Runner Up
In Shows with his last group win in February 2008 in his
....11th year. Bickley finished #1 Stafford in Australia in 2007 -
Dogzonline Pointscore.
My fondest memories of Aust Grand Champion Toptaurus Crow Out Loud, though
are of a sweet loving gentle dog who gave his all to Karyn. The love
between handler and dog was so obvious. A born showdog who
loved and lived to show. In his mind it was all " Just lets get on with it"
Bicks best doggy mate at the shows was my imported basset boy and they
travelled together to all the shows, cleaned each others faces with a true
frienship
