Since 1991 we have successfully bred & owned 24 Champions 7 Grand Champions and multiple Best in Show & Runner up Best In Show winners as well as Obedience Title holders. Our aim is to conform to the standard to produce healthy Staffords of sound temperament.

We receive many enquiries about BLUE STAFFORDS. We do not, have not and never will BREED FOR COLOUR. No ethical breeder should. The fact that blue litters now take up around 90% of puppy listings is scary and you only have to look and compare to see the quality that isn't there. The fact remains that a blue Stafford does not properly conform to the breed standard. Blue is allowed as a colour, true; but the nose leather MUST be black, the coat colour should be rich, the eye should be as dark as possible and the nails should be dark in reflection of the coat. This is genetically impossible with the blue gene as it is a dilute of the black/brindle gene.
It is an unfortunate truth that many of these blue breeders will breed purely for money and NOT for the betterment of the breed. They put dog to bitch and only think about the colour of the puppies to be thrown and NOT whether they are health tested, true to the breed standard, true to type and of excellent temperament. They think of now and NOT of 3-4 generations down the track. Worst of all, they incessantly breed recessive gene to recessive gene NOT CARING OF WHAT GENETIC FAULTS SUCH A MATING WILL PRODUCE OR WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO OUR BREED IN THE LONGTERM.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have been asked to let
you all know that Bickley at the grand age of 12 years is now at rest.

22/8/1997 - 7/3/2009 Aust Grand Champion Toptaurus Crow Out Loud

12 months ago Bickley became very ill, after being poisoned and at that
time nearly lost his life. He had amazing strength to fight his way back
and then to finally compete at his 9th Battle of the Champions, where he
was applauded by the people who knew him and were glad to see him compete
once again as he flew around the ring to make that trademark leap in the
air he used to do after his workouts. Unfortunately he never really returned
to his normal self.

This dog was a giant among show dogs holding Stafford records that will be
difficult to beat including 110 Best in Groups. .... Just alone in the
last 2 years of his show life he was awarded 5 Best in Shows & 11 Runner Up
In Shows with his last group win in February 2008 in his
....11th year. Bickley finished #1 Stafford in Australia in 2007 -
Dogzonline Pointscore.

My fondest memories of Aust Grand Champion Toptaurus Crow Out Loud, though
are of a sweet loving gentle dog who gave his all to Karyn. The love
between handler and dog was so obvious. A born showdog who
loved and lived to show. In his mind it was all " Just lets get on with it"
Bicks best doggy mate at the shows was my imported basset boy and they
travelled together to all the shows, cleaned each others faces with a true
frienship

We have been established since 1986 in this time we have had great success with our dogs in the show ring at Royals, Specialty and All Breeds shows as well as a successfull breeding program having breed 8 Australian Champions.
We currently have 4 dogs at home Lilly being our oldest, Fergie Evie and our boy Finn.
All our dogs are L2-HCA, HC clear and PHPV unaffected, with certificates to view upon request.
We don't breed blue and Don't breed to profit, and only breed on average once a year.
Our next litter will be due late August 2011, from our beautiful Evie and Finn, we are expecting reds and brindles and pieds.
