We have been showing & breeding Staffordshire Bull Terriers since 1978 in New Zealand under the Warmaster Prefix.

In October 2008 we relocated to Australia and as we were unable to register "Warmaster" in Australia, we bred under the prefix "Blackshot".
After returning to New Zealand in March 2023 "Warmaster" has been re-activated with Dogs NZ and will be our kennel name again.

All breeding stock is L2-HGA & HC DNA tested clear, Eye Tested and chosen for adherence to the breed standard both physically and mentally.

I have kept Staffordshire's for over 30yrs now and I couldn't see myself with any other breed! I love them for their cheeky playfulness and the fact they are such characters, as well as their loving and loyal nature. My Staffords are part of my family and NO Stafford of mine will ever be "regretfully rehomed"

In our family at this time we have two gorgeous girls & one male. We live on a 4 acre property and our dogs have free rein of our house and property. Our puppies are raised In our house as part of the family and receive all the cuddles & attention they could ever want or need from me and my children. My girls are genetically tested by DNA and are clear of HC, L2Hga & DM.

All puppies leave with 1st Vax, microchipping, Intestinal worming, flea treatment and a health check done by my vet. The also leave with a puppy pack containing copies of parents pedigrees & DNA reports as well as food, toys & treats. I also offer lifetime breeder support if ever needed.

When we breed a litter we bring a lot of details and research into the mix to create what we believe will be the best for not only bettering the breed, but the ideal family member also, because as much as we would love to keep them all the majority of each litter does go to pet homes.
We pick only the best temperaments we are able to find and pair that with true to standard works of art, we are very passionate with what we do and if you have met us then you know the number one topic is normally about our Staffords!

We live on 10 acres in the Lockyer valley, we have a dam for swimming and lots of open space, perfect for letting our Staffords develop their genetic fitness potential and be able to explore on our daily walks without leaving the property, living beside Guinea fowl, chickens, horses and other dogs.

We feed quality food and supplements along with a healthy dose of lure coursing and conformation showing, we have had a good amount of success in both fields for our Time participating.

Our staffords are a part of our family and raised in our family enviroment, they have the free run of the house and spend 85% of the day inside, they get constant attention from us and our 3 children. BluJeans have been lovers of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier for many years. We are able to share this wonderful experience through occasional breeding.

We currently own four Staffords all with great temperaments and true to the Staffordshire breed – Axl, Vindi, Henry and Yuki. Axl and Henry (father and son) are our blue males and both available for stud to approved bitches. Vindi and Yuki (mother and daughter) are our beautiful girls.

Gorgeous Yuki will be expecting her first litter later this year. Although BluJeans have mainly produced blue pups in the past along with black, white and brindle, we are planning to put a red stud over Yuki in the hope of re-introducing the colour red into our breeding program!!

We are small family breeders of Staffords. Puppies are born and raised inside our family home where both mother and puppies have the best support of a loving family. Our aim is to breed excellent quality puppies with health, temperament and soundness being of most importance.

We aim to breed the old style Stafford.
Correct shape, size, and temperament.
We don't believe in shortcuts and it shows in our dogs. We feed only super premium and RAW foods, exercise and learning through play.

Our dogs are not in cages or pens and have free roam of our house and yard at all times, they are socialised with horses, pigs, sheep, cats, birds and children. All of our dogs are family members. They are included in everyday activities making them well-rounded and balanced animals. All of our dogs are fully DNA tested and cleared, have correct bites, ears and rich colour with no skin or sensitivity issues.

We DO NOT take colour requests for pups and all pups will require desexing as per our contract.

Staffordshire Bull Terriers are people dogs, they need to be a member of the family. They are loyal and loving, they will follow you around and sit right next to you. They are not a dog that can be left alone in the back yard to amuse themselves, they need regular attention, if a staffy is neglected they can become bored and problematic.
They love to have a regular walk, a ride in the car and in general be included in your family’s day-to-day activities. Exercise, affection and discipline with quality food are all needed to keep your dog functioning as a happy and healthy pet who gives back a lot more than he receives.
