I am small select kennel, specialising in Tenterfield Terriers. My aim is to breed sound happy healthy pups, bred for type and soundness. I also put quality over quantity. My dogs all run together and temperament is paramount. I have been showing at SACA since the breed’s acceptance into the ring in 2002. To date I have 30 Champions 24 born and bred here at Gumhaven in my 9 years of showing. Gumhaven owned and bred Tenterfields have won Groups, many class in groups, BISS's, and Royal B O B's and class in group. We also have many natural Bob tails. My breeding stock has all been patella checked.
I have been in Tenterfields for 30 years although they were originally known as Miniature Fox Terriers.

Lucas, a natural bob tail (NTB)came to live with us aged 10 months. Since then he has won 6 Best Exhibit in Specialty Show, a dozen other all-breeds and Specialty Best in Show awards, plus many Best in Group awards. He is also well over half way to becoming a Grand Champion under the most recent ANKC Rules. Lucas is currently the only Tenterfield Terrier in Victoria to hold an Earthdog title NE, proving he has the ability to perform the job for which he was bred.

Lucas is a popular stud dog in Victoria, having sired some 15 litters. Among these 5 Champions from 5 different bitches already have attained the title of Australian Champion in 4 States.

'Rangeaire' comes into Tenterfield Terriers with considerable experience, having bred some 80 Champion Airedale Terriers in direct line. So, the decision to 'downsize' to Tenterfields was not taken lightly! With the addition of two bitches, we aim to selectively breed to establish correct breed type and balance within this breed. This includes consolidating an esthetically pleasing tail length, making full use of the natural bob tail gene that naturally occurs in this fascinating, recently recognized Australian breed.

We are always ready to advise and assist with respect those newcomers to Tenterfields and/or showing and breeding dogs.

We breed 'small dogs with big hearts'
We are a small kennel that is passionate about breeding for the future of the Tenterfield in conformation and temperament.
We are not active in the show ring at present, preferring to concentrate on enjoying our dogs on our property or promoting the breed on the road as we travel in our caravan to other States in Australia. We take our girls with us and they are very popular wherever we go.
We have three generations at home but will focus our breeding schedule on our two youngest girls who are scheduled to have litters later this year - all being well! We have produced 4 champions to date with puppies going to homes in Victoria and other states. Our extended 'Tentella' family keep in touch and send photos of our babies so we can see them grow up and become the personalities and companions that make them so special.
My husband and I are involved with the Tenterfield Terrier Club of Victoria as President and Treasurer where we we proudly hold these positions. It is our joint goal now and into the future to promote the breed so that everyone will know what it is like to love and be loved by a 'Tenterfield'

We are a small kennel to the north of Brisbane. We started showing Tenterfield Terriers in March 2007 and our tan and white girl Wandji Tiarna attained her title in 2008.
We had our first litter in 2009. We breed for type, temperament and soundness. Our dogs live in the home with us and our puppies are raised with love in the home on our small acreage. We now have our first champion that we have bred, Ch Denraellew Desert Eagle, he is our first born pup out of our first litter.

TERRELLE TTs began when we brought two of the highest quality TTs to Vic from NSW.. a "Madusty" bitch & an "Atenta" dog...
Terror- #1 BEST OF BREED ANNUAL WINNER Vic.
Jez- #1 TT BITCH Vic & #2 TT BITCH OF AUSTRALIA ANNUAL WINNER.
Our foundation TTs attracted positive comments everywhere they went & helped to gain more respect for our breed here in Vic over the last couple of years. Both Terror & Jez were Champion titled by us as youngsters & hit 500+ points each by 2 yrs old.

*Our homebred "babies" (Mighty & Pridey) joined their parents as part of our show team. They both titled very easily & are Class In Group winners in very strong terrier competition. "Mighty" gained his Champion title at only 8 mths young!

Within 2.5 mths of being out of "baby" Mighty won against every other TT residing in Vic that was shown in 2012 at least once, including a Grand Champ dog & 8 others from breeders in 4 states! Pridey did just as well & has had the majority of Vic BOB wins in 2013!

We will now be running on our latest "Terror" daughter "Lana" bred by our close friend at Madusty TTs NSW & sired by our awesome boy.

Our TTs have great personalities & are part of the family... always referred to as "the kids". We will not be pumping out puppies to sell. As responsible carers of many animals over our lifetime, we take all animal ownership very seriously & will only breed thoughtfully for excellence.

Most of us are familiar with these plucky little Australians. Whether belting downhill in a billy cart, catching a Frisbee or sitting curled up in your lap. The Tenterfield Terrier is a big dog in a little body, a terrier with attitude.

The Tenterfield Terrier is popular in both the country and the city. It is a very adaptable dog and will be as happy on a farm as it is in the city.

Tenterfields adapt to most situations, from a houseful of noisy kids to a more indulgent lifestyle with older adults. Most make good companions for older people living alone, being small and placid enough to hold in your lap.

Just being new to the Tenterfield breed, these little dogs just worm their way into your heart. They are a great all rounder kind of breed, suitable for just about everything and there is very little thay can not do.
My main aim for this breed is to produce healthy happy puppies that I myself will keep for showing. All my breeding dogs and bitches are DNA tested before breeding. Orgamadra aims to breed true to type and standard. I am happy to answer any questions and will forward on to other breeders if needed.

We are only a new exclusively Tenterfield Terrier breeder situated on the far north coast of New South Wales in a little town called Kyogle. The Kyogle area is known as "Gods Own Country" and Kyogle itself is called the "Friendly Town". Our foundation Tenterfields are from long lines of established champion pedigree show dogs. Our puppies are carefully raised in our home close to family and children.
