Greydove Weimaraners have won Best of Breed awards at 3 State Royal Shows and multiple All Breeds and Specialty Best in Shows.

We are now breeding in the USA with 3 Champions & Multi BIS & BISS winners.

Many Greydove Weimaraner have gone to European Breeders and those Weimaraners have excelled in all aspects of showing, hunting and obedience. Many have achieved All Breeds & Specialty Best in Show wins across Europe and are now producing BIS winners for their kennels.

BUT - our philosophy is to breed Weimaraners who are sound in mind and body - who will give their owners many years of companionship and love. Greydove puppies are available on a very limited basis - simply because we believe that Weimaraners are not meant to be kennel dogs but should live in the home environment – this limits the number of Weimaraners that we have in our team and consequently the number of litters that we have during the year.

Est 1980. 2012 will see 32 years of us being owned by wonderful Weimaraners. Focusing on good temperament, breed type & hunting ability. We are both long-standing members of the Weimaraner Club of Victoria Inc, with Di being a Life Member.

We usually only breed a litter once every couple of years. Our litters are always well planned and researched prior to taking place and our puppies are raised in our home along with our dogs. We do not have kennel facilities at Silvasheen - our dogs live in the house with us and all puppies are raised in a family environment in our living room. All our puppies are water imprinted at 7 weeks of age & are introduced to game & basic retrieving from 5-6 weeks of age.

Our next litter is planned for mid-late 2012. We will be breeding 'Bindi' (Silvasheen Magic Happens) for an AI litter - possibly using our imported English semen from Eng Sh Ch Hansom Portman of Gunalt (UK) or semen from Aust Ch Silvasheen Capuccino Kid.

In 1966 my Uncle Peter imported 2 weimaraners fom UK to Malaysia, and we always referred them as the grey ghost (hantu) as kids.

Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think I would own a weimaraner, let alone show them. Then in APRIL 2009, I purchased my 1st Weimaraner, Bromhund Disco Baby (SUGAR) Sugar is bred by Bromhund Kennels, with over 30 years of experience in this breed & the only Weimaraner kennel in Australia to have bred more then 130 show champions, along with 4 Grand Champions. Their record says it all, and Sugar's sire is the handsome BIS American/Canadian Ch Davora Bremar Mark of Ashlaren ("Mark") IMP Canada owned by Ashlaren Kennels.

In 2010 my 2nd Weimaraner joined our team her name Weissenberg Suprise-Suprise (Imp NZ) "Spice" and it grew to 3 Weimaraners! On the 10th of June 2011, Watchel-Berg Bubble Up at Cruisenif (Imp NZ)joins the Cruisenif team.

DRUMM ROLL - Sugar gives birth to 2 stuning boys on the 3/8/11 and WE have kept one of her boys - Elvis - Cruisenif One For The Money (our OWN breeding) he make's his show debut in November.

Sugar & Spice achieved their Aust Ch Title at 13mths.

"Sugar" will be our foundation bitch at Cruisenif.
