I have enjoyed a lifetime with dogs of various breeds, as pets, farm and show dogs & worked closely with large animal blood donors, horses, camels, cattle as well as dogs, mainly greyhounds, in producing plasma for veterinary purposes and use in human vaccines.

Having kept adored pet & rescue whippets since early 1980s, whippets soon became favourites.

My whippets enjoy a natural healthy outdoor farm life, protected within safe boundaries and not without creature comforts.

Aim: To support, promote and celebrate proven bloodlines, perpetuated through selective breeding programs by informed, experienced breeders, who operate with integrity and strive toward best practice and The Extended Whippet Standard.

Mike & Sandra Patterson. Sandra is an ALL BREEDS JUDGE and we are globally renowned for our Golden Retrievers which we have owned since 1968. We have now added Whippets to our kennel and as one breeder said to us "they are infectious, you cant stop at just one" - how true that has been. We are now owned by three whippets.
Our first whippet was Ch Ridgesetter Coco Chanel, joined soon after by Ch Nabihah Peppas Tigra and then we imported from NZ Ch Benbridge Angel of Faith at Buffalo. In our short time in the breed we have had great success with our whippets. This year we have bred our first litter from Thyme and Peppa, linebreeding to Ronndal. We are fortunate to have a sound base for our kennel and thank the breeders for these dogs and their help along the way.

We are a small and select kennel located in country NSW. We are the home of Aust CH Argowan Whoze Lookin Now and Calahorra Sunshine N Lollipops. We are new to Whippets (four years of owning and exhibiting), however we have great breed mentors and breeding plans that will produce Whippets that are both sound in body and temperament. Our Whippets live in the house and any litters will be raised indoors with love and care.
Whippets make ideal pets for those who enjoy gentle dogs, that appreciate a lounge or bed and some daily exercise.
We had the pleasure of whelping Sessy's first litter to Spyanfly Scarlet Stone, from which we have retained Argowan Califawnication, on his first weekend of exhibition he was awarded a Baby In Show at the NSW Whippet Club and also best Opposite BabY In Show.
We are planning on mating Sessy again in 2013 and welcome any enquiries you may have.

COUNTRY RETREAT BOARDING KENNELS
We are a small family business who love and live dogs. We have a unique Country Retreat for dogs. Our property is located in country WA and has lots of room for the dogs to run and play.
