Gr Ch Joymont Alaskan Gold (Skye) needs little introduction in the Show World. Starting as a wheaten he is now a lovely silver grey brindle. From the puppy class winning the breed at the Sydney Royal he has now accumuated 8 Best in Shows, 6 Runner up in Shows, 24 Best in Groups and 17 Runner up in Groups. He has won Best Terrier at the Hobart Royal Twice, Group 3 at the Melbourne Royal twice, Puppy in Group at the Adelaide Royal and returning the next year to win Runner up in Group. He has three Grand Champion progeny with more on the way. As well as a super star in the show ring he is a loved family member who is extrememly effectionate and enjoys being the centre of the household. He is now semi retired enjoying his life as a couch potatoe coming out for the discernng judge and to keep his progeny on their toes.
At the last Victorian Cairn Terrier Champ Show Skye came out to win Reserve dog to the new man in the Kennel our lovely Swedish Import. His daughter GR Ch French Lace also went Reserve CC.
At the Melbourne Royal in September under a Terrier Specialist Skye won the breed and was short listed in the final group.
