Chi - the first Siberian Husky here at Mikulov and the beginning of our time with this breed - brought so much in terms of her "joie de vivre" which she shared with all people and dogs she met throughout her long and healthy life.

Not a fan of the show ring, she won
BCC - Sydney Royal Easter Show - April 2000
BCC - Canberra Royal Show - February 2001

before stepping aside for her daughter (Ch/NZ Ch Mikulov A Lone Lady ET) and sons. Chi preferred the position of "head girl" and ruled all dogs at Mikulov until well into her teen years when she relinquished that role to Patches and made it known that she preferred a comfortable mat at our feet indoors.

Chi lived to be the oldest Siberian Husky in Australia before passing away peacefully on 20 September 2004

She was 15 years, 9 months and 17 days

She is missed for much more than her longevity - her gentleness, love and affection for all people made her a truly remarkable dog
