'Dimmy'

From humble beginnings Dimmy has developed into one of the finest Japanese Spitz in the country & became the first Tasmanian BRED & SHOWN Grand Champion of the breed on 23 March 2008, 3 weeks short of his 4th birthday, a stunning achievement for a still widely-unaccepted breed, especially in a small state such as Tasmania.
From the time he won his first Best Exhibit in Group at 11 months we knew he was going to be special, we just didn't know then how special.
He has consistently been recognised at group & show level by national & international judges.

12.11.2006 Westbury Agricultural Society - Dimmy is awarded Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show
10.3.2007 Tasmanian Contest of Champions - Dimmy makes the TOP FOUR of this prestigious competition.
19.8.2007 Combined Breeds Dog Club - Dimmy is awarded Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show
3.11.2007 Ulverstone Show Society - Dimmy is awarded Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show
8.12.2007 Circular Head Agricultural Society - Dimmy is awarded Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show
1.01.2008 Dimmy achieves No.1 in the Non-Sporting Group (Tasmania) in the Dogzonline National Pointscore for 2007
15.3.2008 Dimmy is again invited to attend the Tasmanian Contest of Champions, making it through to the TOP 16
16.3.2008 Combined Breeds Dog Club - Dimmy is awarded Best Exhibit in Group by Mrs J Bald (Tas) then goes on to take out BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW under Mrs J Hargraves (Tas)
31.5.2008 Midlands Agricultural Association - Dimmy wins another Best Exhibit in Group award under Mrs J Keehan (Vic) then goes on to be awarded Runner/Up Best Exhibit in Show by Mrs Di Baillie (Vic).
31.8.2008 Combined Breeds Dog Club - Dimmy is selected as Best Exhibit in Group by Mr L Yuen (Malaysia) & goes onto Best State-Bred in Show (which 4 in his last 6 shows).
