Below is the critique from the Working Dog Club of Qld show held on the 21 October 2007 with Mr Louis Donald judging.
16 months Large, just medium strong, slightly long, masculine, expressive dog, good strength of skull and foreface, good eye colour, good strength of neck, good reach of neck, nick behind good withers, the back should be a little firmer, short steep croup, narrow thighs, the upper arm is of good length but should be a little better laid, good fore and under chest development, very good length of foreleg, slightly short steep pasterns, he should stand a little more correct in front, steps correct behind good hocks, steps a little wide in front and elbows should be tighter, not presented in the best coat condition, during movement the drive and reach should be more effective, more importantly the back should remain firmer and
straighter.
