Aust Champion Keeshee Cute N Cuddley

A Child and her Dog.

Cuddles was my first very own dog - we had had Shelties for many years, but Cuddles was my 14th Birthday present!

And we had that unmistakable bond as well - she was perfectly in tune with me, and she always showed her heart out.

She debuted with a Best Baby Puppy in Show, the first of 6.

She was also Reserve Challenge Bitch and Best Puppy Bitch in Group at Sydney Royal Easter Show 1987. The same weekend she was again Reserve Challenge Bitch and Best Puppy in Show at the Keeshond Club of NSW - and there were big entries in those days!

She was also an All Breed Best in Show winner, and winner of 2 Best In Show awards at the Keeshond Club of NSW. She was a Challenge winner at the Melbourne Royal. Also Bitch Challenge at Sydney Royal 1989, Best of Breed in 1990 and her greatest achievement of all was BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at the SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW in 1991. The entry was 4566 and the judge was Mrs J Brooymans-Schallenberg from Holland. This is still a record for the breed.

Cuddles was a very feminine bitch, a sound mover and she had great showmanship. Sadly she was frequently out of coat and was shown quite sparingly and retired at 5 years of age.

She produced one litter and from that came Paddington, Ch Sheldunoc Risky Business, also a Best in Show winner.

Cuddles passed away aged 10 and a half years.

A ONCE IN A LIFETIME DOG.
