Multi BISS Ch Ellesmyre Ruffn Tumble

I first saw 'Ruff' back in July 1987 at the home of breeders Rick and Kathryn Berwick with really no intention of buying one but when I first laid eyes on him I just knew he had to come home. As 'luck' would have it Ruff had been picked as a show dog and was entered in a couple of shows by the breeders so along we went, won baby puppy in group and was hooked from then on! And so began a long term love affair with the breed. The breeders moved to SA not long after but we kept up a great friendship and they put me in touch with fellow OES exhibitors Pam and Henry Smith of Bescinda Kennels who also became life long friends and gave us much support and encouragment as we were certainly novices at the show. Ruff went on to win many in group and in class awards as well as Best in Show at the Tasmanian OES Specialty in 1990 and 1991 so for our first show dog he did us proud
