BIS (Neut) Aust & Neut Ch Manunga Meadow Lark (Q)
In 2017, at the "tender" age (LOL!) of 8 years old, she returned to the show ring as a Neuter. She immediately proved she still had the winning touch by winning Best Neuter In Group at her first show out of retirement. In addition, on 11 March 2017, she made history by becoming the first and only Field Spaniel ever to win BEST IN SHOW at an all-breeds championship show for neuters. In doing so she joined an elite list of Field Spaniels (still living or having passed on into history) who have won BIS at all-breeds championship show level in Australia. She is the only Field Spaniel bitch in Australia to have won at all-breeds championship show level in Australia and joins her kennel mate, BISS Am Ch & Aust Ch Overlook's KD The Way We Were (imp USA) - Katie - as a Best In Show winner. I am proud to share my life with both these girls.
Lark was bred by Stephanie and Matthew Sticher, Queensland and is owned, exhibited and loved by Monica McCaffery and Julia, Matthew and Lara Barone.
