On the 7 july 2012 Joey was awarded BOB to gain his Supreme Championship award making him the first elkhoud in Australia to achieve this award. Joey is now also a Multi Best in Show winner and Multi Runner Up Best in Show having won 6 Runner Up Best in Shows and 26 Best in Groups.
2011 Canberra Royal and Canberra Hound Club Show Joey was Best of Breed with strong elkhound entry. Joey was short listed for Group and awarded Intermediate in Group at the Canberra Royal 2011.
Joey's first show was Henty in February 2010 a very wet day he was placed reserve challenge to Clyde. He won Res Challenge at his second show in an entry of 29 Elkhounds beating many older elkhounds. We are very proud of this young dog and hoping for a bright future.
