I first saw Aura in August of 2008 when I judged the Canadian Italian Greyhound National Specialty and awarded her Best in show. She was shown twice that weekend, the only times she saw the show ring in that year, and,as well as going BIS at the Specialty, she also went BOB and Group 3 at the Canadian National Toy Dog show under the American judge, Roger Hartinger. These 2 great wins put her 5th ranked IG in Canada for 2008.
Now, I have the great good fortune to have her with me and she is continuing her winning ways. Although very lightly shown as are all my dogs, she has won numerous BOB; RUBIG, BIG and RUBIS.
In the future, I hope to breed with her as the pedigree ties in well with my first import, Ch.Mira Arizona [impUSA] [who is her aunt some generations removed] and with GrCh/AmCh Mira Lakota[impUSA] whose sire is Aura's grandsire.
Now with her triple Championship, Aura has retired from the showring and has been mated to Ch.Merikaez Ultimatum, a son of AustGrCh/AmCh Mira Lakota [impUSA]
