Penny has developed into a lovely mature and up to breed standard size bitch with wonderful balance, plenty of substance, lovely angles and she moves accordingly with a beautiful "free" gait. She has a very pretty head with nice dark eye colour, terrific coat and a excellent "otter" tail. Penny has most certainly inherited her mother's intelligence and eagerness to please and has also commenced obedience training. We are all very excited about her future and seeing her achieve her full potential.
We are most grateful for Guy Spagnolo not only allowing us to use his impressive boy, Driftway Blue Print but for suggesting the pairing of these two from the outset. We are extremely happy with the quality that they've produced and Penny has proven herself to be a top quality show dog as well as producing some very promising offspring for us to continue on with.
Penny had most of 2014 and 2015 off from the show ring for mother duties and is now loving being back. She is well on her way to achieving her Grand Champion title :-)
ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2013 Penny gained her Australian Champion title at only 13 months of age.
- 2013 Penny wins JUNIOR IN SHOW at the Labrador Retriever Club of QLD Inc. speciality Championship Show.
- 2013 Penny is awarded her first Best Exhibit in GROUP at the age of 17 months from the Junior Class and out of 85 Gundogs.
- 2013 Penny's achievements as a puppy (up to 18 months of age) were spectacular with 23 Championship Show Class in GROUP wins and 5 Championship Class in SHOW wins.
- 2013 Penny achieved her Rally O Novice title.
- 2013 Penny gains her Community Companion Dog title (CCD).
- 2013 Winner of the GUNTREVA TROPHY for METROPOLITAN SHOW BITCH OF THE YEAR
-2014 Penny wins Best of Breed at the Toowoomba Royal and goes on to win Best Intermediate in SHOW
-2014 Penny wins Best of Breed at the EKKA (Brisbane Royal) as well as Bitch Challenge at the Gundog Speciality held as part of a breed feature at the 2014 Brisbane Royal.
- 2018 Penny gains the final points to be awarded her Grand Champion title.
