Born on March 20th Markable Gillii (Gillie) is a very special young black male dog. He was selected to become an assistance dog at 6 weeks by temperament testing. His strong retrieving instinct and good team bonding means he is ideal as an assistance dog. He has been trained as a diabetic alert Assistance Dog. Gillie has continued with his Assistance Dog Training in both Hypoglycaemic and hyperglycaemic episodes and has already shown his usefulness in preventing his owner Aaron form having dangerous highs and lows, especially night-time lows. He has extensive experience in a broad range of environments and is showing a wonderful attitude when 'working' out in the world. He is unreactive when in shopping centres etc. his focus is on his handler. Gillie currently attends work with his owner each day as an assistance dog in training he has unrestricted public access. He is both an inside/outside boy who is toliet and lead trained to a very high level.
