Kinsey - Hips: 2-0, Elbows 0-0 (Clear Eye Certificate) Kinsey was bred from our two imports, Aust Ch Branchalwood Portleathan (Imp UK) and Aust Ch Braemist May Queen (Imp UK). Both parents are hip/elbow xrayed and scored, and have clear eye certificates. There were 8 pups in the litter, and her brother Aust Ch Sherepoint MacGregor was shown with great success by Joy Gregg of Blackregal Kennels in Perth. Kinsey a typical flatcoat, is very confident and just loves the show ring. In her show career she has won several Baby in Groups and Minor Puppy in Groups at Open Shows and All Breeds Championship Show and a Minor Puppy in Show. A good win was in 2005 was Puppy in Group at a Championship Show, and she was one of the six finalists for Best in Group. She was Junior in Group under Japanese Judge Mr Domon - May 2005 and gained her show title on 7 August 2005 at 16 months of age. Kinsey was Reserve Challenge bitch at Adelaide Royal Show in Sept 2005, to her half sister Sherepoint Port Khandi - making it a clean sweep for Sherepoint Kennels - believed to be the first time for a South Australian kennel to win both challenges in competition, with her father Ch Branchalwood Portleathan (Imp UK) being Best of Breed. In May 2006 she had her first litter of 12 pups and proved to be an excellent mother. Now in 2007, with coat fully restored and much more body, she is in the winner's circle again. Kinsey was Best of Breed under Mexican judge Ms E Gonzales in July, and then Best of Breed at Brisbane Royal in August under flatcoat specialist Mr Doug Windsor from Canada - and made it into the final six for Best in Group - with over 190 challenge points to her credit in 2007. Once again 2008 a good year for Kinsey with lots of challenges. At the Autumn International Show in March 2009 Kinsey was Bitch challenge winner under Mr An Sae Hyun of South Korea. April 09 Kinsey continues on her winning way, picking up 88 challenge points in the last 3 months.
