Hips 3-4, Elbows 0-0, Clear Eye Certificate. Sire: Ch Sherepoint Blue Maxim, Dam: Ch Braemist May Queen (Imp UK). Banker has a good, correct breed type head, and moves well, covering a lot of ground. Banker was Best of Breed at the prestigious Pedigree Autumn International Show under the Japanese judge Mr S. Otomo in April 05 - this win gained him his Australian Champion title. This gave our big winning dog Aust Ch Sherepoint Blue Maxim his sixth champion. In 2006 Banker continued on his winning way, taking out eleven challenges and seven Best of Breeds. November 2006 gave him his biggest win at that date, a Best in Group under Gundog Specialist Mrs Anna Spanswick from NSW. His final win for the year, was to come second to his kennel mate Porter, in the Top Interstate dog award for the Flatcoated Retriever Assn of Victoria. In 2007 Banker was Dog Challenge winner and Runner Up Best of Breed at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show under Canadian Judge Mr Edgar Bajino (previously from Finland). At the Autumn International Show on 9 March 09, Banker was Best of Breed under Ms Ko I Shen from Taiwan. Banker just took out Best in Show at our Flatcoated Retriever Championship Show in Victoria on 1st November 2009 - against the top flatcoats in Australia, judged by English gundog Specialist Mr Stephen Hollings. on 4th February 2010 after winning Best of Breed on 30th Jan 2010 under Intl judge Mr J. Walsh (Ireland)on the previous weekend, sadly Banker was put to sleep, after suddenly taking ill. He had almost 700 challenge points to his credit. Sadly missed - a lovely boy.
