"Jesse" first entered the show ring at twelve months of age in early October 1998, and that set the stage for everything which followed. He was awarded BOB and then Best In Group by Mr G Kill (Qld).

Only ten months after gaining his Championship title he attained his Grand Championship title co-incident with his 10th Best In Show win. This was on January 26th, 2000 - after only sixteen months in the ring, and at just two years and three months of age.

In 2000 he then excelled himself with 12 BIS and 5 RUBIS wins. One of these was BIS at Darwin Royal under Mr D Fifield (NZ) and another was RUBISS at the year 2000 NSW Doberman Specialty under Mrs J Brown (USA). He finished the year in the top twenty dogs nationally and ranked no 3 in the Utility Group nationally. He had the honour to be Utility Group leader in New South Wales and No 1 all breeds overall in the NSW Southern Region.

In all, when he was retired at the end of 2002 and then shown only sparingly in 2003, he accumulated 27 BIS and 16 RUBIS wins plus Best Of Breed at Melbourne Royal in 2000, at Brisbane Royal in 2001 and 2003 and Darwin Royal in 2000 (subsequently his Royal BIS win) and again in 2001, when he went RUBIG to the top winning Siberan Husky and eventual BIS winner, Am Can & Aust Grand Ch Innisfree's Alexander.

"Jesse" returned to me at the end of 2003 and now lives with me in my home near Albury, where he never ceases to amaze friends and visitors with his wonderful temperament and affectionate nature. He especially loves children - and they in turn bring out his playful side. "Jesse" is simply a most wonderful representative for the breed.
