Rally Obedience Champion Lindenbrae Tarfin Im Magickal CDX RAE TK.S
Tasi is a lovely grrl, a great mixture of bold, calm, lively and fun. She has taken to training with real conviction and has had an impressive start to her career as an Animal Assisted Therapy dog, connecting really positively with some highly challenging children and young people.
Tasi started her Obedience and Rally-O career at Wangaratta in May 2016, passing three out of three classes - two Rally Novice passes and her first CCD pass. She completed her Rally Novice title at the Working Dog Club trial two weeks later, and also gained her second CCD pass, winning the lovely rosette sponsored by Aileen Dibble, in memory of precious Puzzle, for being highest scoring CCD. At Geelong, in July, she completed her CCD title, winning the sash for Highest Scoring Geelong member in CCD.
Clever Tasi completed her Rally Advanced title at Northern ODC's trial in September with scores of 98 and 98. She gained the last of the five passes required for her Rally Excellent title at Croydon in December.
Our sporting dog pursuits in 2017 have so far yielded a Novice Obedience title, her three passes including a Highest Score in Trial at the Australian Shepherd Restricted to Group Obedience Trial in appalling weather just before Easter. We completed her Rally Masters title at Wangaratta in May - very timely given that her performance career started at Wangaratta exactly twelve months ago. She qualified for the 2017 Top Rally-O Dog of the Year competition and also won a class at the State Titles. Tasi completed her Rally Advanced Excellent Title in late 2017 and her Rally O Champion Title in mid 2018.
Tasi completed her Open obedience title at Northern in September 2019 with three passes in the mid to high 180’s, mostly in really poor weather and including a wonderful Best In Trial in awful conditions at Warrnambool in July. Her focus in challenging conditions is commendable! She has done brilliantly since completing her title, passing ten Open classes in a row, including a magnificent 194 at Werribee. I am so proud of my grrrl!
Tasi had not trialled since late last year, but returned to earn her Tricks Starters title at Geelong's Inaugural Tricks Trial in July 2023. She is thrilled to be back training with me and I'm looking forward to preparing her for more fun in the Tricks ring in coming months.
Oh, and you say 'Tashi' sadly the website won't let me include the 'combining circumflex accent' that should go above the 's'.
