Most Noatak residents are descended from three distinct groups of Iñupiaq (Inupiat) Eskimos who came together to populate the village in the 1890s: the Nautaugmiut, which translates into English as “inland river people. Inupiat Eskimos used magic songs to aid in the performance of extraordinary feats, with some songs considered to be for the purpose of conducting Black Magic.
ALASKAMAL GYPSY ROSE LEE's linage through her mother Noatak Black Magic, 'NARLAH' can be traced to the following, through over nine generations.

Thankyou to her Great Grand Mother Narlah's influence and impact on the Breed within Victoria.It is for this reason that Gypsy is, and will always be considered a special and significant example of the breed, and will be a long lasting legacy to our dear and devoted Narlah.

For Gypsy the 2015 Sledding Season has begun with a flying start, finishing Third, as part of a Two Dog Team, in the fist two races of the season with the Alaskan Malamute Club of Victoria. AMCV Races 3 & 4 saw Gypsy with her running mate go one better finishing 2nd twice.

Gypsy together with Gibson finished 1st place in the 2-dog class of the AMCV's Sledding Point Score for 2015.

Equal success is anticipated for her progeny.
