Gates went Best Exhibit at the Tasmanian Working Dog Championship Show in 2004 and was also Best of Breed at both the Launceston and Hobart Royals the same year.

Gates is the sire of our Multi Best in Show winning bitch - Grand Ch Edinglen Fascination and the stunning Multi Best In Show Grand Ch Burnhardt Highland Lord-owned by Dave & Joan Smith

Gates is now retired from the show ring and lives with my good friend Deb; where he is very much loved and spoilt. He spends his days sprawled on the lounge and taking long relaxing walks with Deb. A beautiful boy and a wonderful representative for our breed!


Gates passed away in May 2013 at the age of 15 1/2. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy and a hole in our hearts. Now at Rainbow Bridge with Sophie. RIP beautiful boy.
