We wish to announce the arrival of our "Dance" litter, born 1 June 2010. 6 M 2 F, white with red or sable. Sire is Cordova Avenger (Imp Aust) (aka Steed), dam NZ Ch Benbrook Take A Chance On Me (Lexie). Steed has only been lightly shown but has 4 Cc's to his credit. He has the most beautiful, rarely seen, correct Borzoi movement, that gives him the appearance of floating above the ground, the Borzoi 'dance'. Lexie also has this lovely movement so we expect the puppies to excel in movement. Both parents also have super temperament. Whilst this is Steed's first litter, Lexie is the dam of our "Vintage Crop" litter, also 8 in that litter, 7 shown, 4 titled, 3 more pointed, most in group winners at championship level. Daughter Lara (Ch Strikeness Sauvignon at Lena)has excelled for her Mum & Dad, Pam & Owen by being Borzoi of the Year 2007/08 & 2008/09 & Cup of Excellence winner both years in the Borzoi Clubs pointscore. Sister Molly (Ch Strikeness Shiraz at Hundale) has also featured prominently in the pointscore and was RBIS at the Borzoi Club Ch Show under Jon Titus Steel, Auroral Borzoi, USA. Molly was also Runner Up Best Borzoi 2007/2008. Molly & some of her siblings have also proved to be very keen coursers.
