4-berth dog trailer, built in 1991 but has only had 3 owners. Great to tow but light enough to be unhitched and moved around by one person. Front two bays 900 x 550, rear two bays 800 x 550. Can fit a couple of small dogs or one medium dog per bay. Too small for Greyhounds unless you want to replace the internal dividers and convert it to a 2-berth. Trailer has housing insulation built into the shell which makes it very comfortable and cool for dogs to travel in hot weather. Two whirlybirds on roof and a sliding, lockable window on each side of trailer. Interior is marine ply - easy to hose out. Internal security screen doors to each berth which can be locked independently of the exterior door - great for ventilation and keeping dogs cool but still secure. Interior light is not wired up but could be done easily enough. Has had a brand new axle fitted and wheel bearings done, I have receipts totalling $505. Does not have a wardrobe/tack box or trolley rack but there is a ledge on the rear of the trailer and hooks on the sides - I use these and a couple of ratchet straps to transport my show trolley on the trailer. Paintwork is a bit flaky and there is some rust on the left wheel arch but structurally it's very sound. Fantastic little trailer that is only up for sale as I am down to one dog and sadly have no use for it. Registered until August. Price reduced to $1,400 firm. Please email for more photos. |
