Banner Advertising

We uses the Google DoubleClick for Publishers software to manage our banner advertising on our site.

Features of our banner advertising

Banners are offered on a Cost Per Impression (CPM) basis so you choose how many times you would like your banner to be shown on the site (and over what time period).
Ability to target by geographic location of visitor (eg target only Australian visitors or target a specific state).
Advertise on our main site (www.dogzonline.com.au), our forums www.dolforums.com.au), or on both sites.

Banner Advertising Restrictions and Conditions

All advertising to be paid in full before advertising will commence on the site.
All advertising has a minimum charge of AUD$50.00 (including GST).
All advertising subject to availability. Please contact us with your requirements and we will advise if we will have the advertising slots available for the period you require.
Banners from advertisers spending less than $50 per month (averaged over the advertising term) will not appear on our 'View All Advertisers' page.

Banner Specifications

Banner dimensions - 728px (wide) X 90px (high) (standard leaderboard banner).
File size - max 50k.
File format - JPG, GIF, HTML or FLASH. (If providing a banner in FLASH format, please include the industry standard 'clickTag' in your code so that we can track clicks).
All banners must be of a professional design. We reserve the right to refuse any banner advertising at our discretion.

Advertising Cost

CPM advertising is offered at a cost of $1 per 1000 impressions (displays) of your banner (minimum purchase of 50,000 impressions applies). Please note that the cost will increase to $5 per 1000 impressions if you wish to target a region that does not include the entire country of Australia (eg if you wish to target Queensland visitors only).
You choose the number of impressions and the length of time over which the impressions should be shown. For example if you choose 200,000 impressions to be shown over 2 months, the system will roughly try to display the total 200,000 impressions evenly each day over those 2 months (approx 3300 impressions per day).

How to start advertising

Please contact us first with your requirements so that we can ensure that we have the advertising slots available. Once we confirm, we will get you to email your banner through to us so that we can set it up on our system. Invoice will then be sent.
Payment is required in full before advertising will commence.
Access will be given to Google's reporting system so that you can monitor your campaign.
