Judge Profile

I have been involved in showing and breeding dogs since 1975. I began showing Great Danes and Dalmatians albeit briefly and then purchased my first Dobermann in 1977. This began a lifetime love and passion for this beautiful breed which I have bred and shown for more than 40 years and they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have been involved with terriers since 2000 when I purchased my first Lakeland Terrier and in a very short time I had considerable success breeding and showing these spunky little terriers for many years. In 2021, I ventured into the world of Kerry Blue terriers and began a huge learning curve in the art of scissoring. All these breeds have brought me a huge amount of pleasure and success with opportunities to continue my lifelong learning about dogs.

I have been actively involved in various activities within the pedigree dog world for more than 45 years, I am currently licensed to judge Toys, Terriers, Working, Utiity and Non Sporting Groups at championship level and a trainee for the Gundog and Hound Groups.

I have had the pleasure of judging across Australia with a particular highlight judging my own breeds at specialty level at the WA Terrier Club Show, and the Dobermann Club of WA Specialty.
