International All Breeds Dog Judge

Sandy commenced showing and breeding purebred dogs in 1983 in her hometown of Adelaide, Australia, where she owned, bred and exhibited Dalmatians. In January 1999, after relocating from Adelaide to Sydney she commenced her journey with the antics and companionship of the Italian Greyhound. Since then Sandy has had many successes in the show ring under her kennel prefix, Piccino.

Highlights have included many All Breeds Best in Show awards, Specialty Best in Show awards and Royal Show Best in Group awards. Piccino Italian Greyhounds are currently Italian Greyhound Breeder of the Year in Australia and have been awarded this title for many years. Piccino is the home of many Grand and Supreme Champions including Hall of Fame, Multi BIS, BISS Supreme Champion Piccino Casanova who is a true legend in his own right and is known by many worldwide.

Sandy is an International All Breeds Dog Judge and is an Italian Greyhound and Toy Group Breed Specialist. She has to date judged extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand and has also had the honour to judge at many shows in USA, Bangkok, Manilla, China and Japan. She was also lucky enough to be invited to judge at the Italian Greyhound National in Rhodes Island, USA with over 160 Italian Greyhounds.

Piccino is very proud to be one of the few kennels in Australia to be selected by Purina Proplan to be an Ambassador for their product.
