Show Schedule

Geraldine Gulbransen - NZ (Group 1)
I have been involved with dogs all of my life with my parents showing and breeding Old English Sheepdogs and British Bulldogs, and my sister Staffordshire Bull Terriers. German Shepherds were always my first love and over the past 30 years I have successfully bred and shown top winning animals that compete at both All Breed and Specialist shows. I have owned and shown OES and British Bulldogs, have interests in the Gundog group with Pointers and have had the pleasure to have involvement with many other breeds.

I am currently president of the Manawatu Kennel Assn and have been involved on committees of All Breed and Specialist clubs, from committee member to President. I am actively involved with the NZKC Examiner Judges scheme, an examiner and secretary of the Manawatu Judges Assn. I am passionate about judges training and the ongoing improvement of our judge's schemes.

I attained my first championship panel in 1987 for the Working Group progressing to an All Breeds Judge. I have judged throughout NZ in most states of Australia, and in Sweden and Ireland.

Through my dogs and my judging I have been privileged to meet some wonderful people and judge some beautiful animals.

Kelly Martin - NZ (Group 2)
I started judging in 1986 (I was 21 years old - to assure you I was not a late starter!) My first Championship licence was for Shetland Sheepdogs, I then went on the next year to gain my Working Dog Licence. Subsequently I have sat and successfully passed all my groups in the first instance. I have 1,2,3,4,5 & 6. I will sit my Non-Sporting licence 2009 which will then give me my All Breeds licence. I have judged in all states of Australia and last year had the pleasure of judging the Scottish Breeds Club of Victoria (Working Dogs). I also judged Terriers in Tasmania at the Hobart Dog Club. I have been licenced for Terriers for 4 years. I was fortunate to be invited to judge the Central Terrier Club show in Wellington as my first Championship appointment and had an entry of 180 dogs. As an aside, I breed and show Shetland Sheepdogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Currently I am campaigning (in conjunction with his owner) a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who is second on the leader board on Dogzonline NZ.

This will be my first Terrier group appointment in Melbourne and I look forward to judging and meeting the terrier exhibitors.

Beth Warman - NZ (Group 3)
Beth has been involved in the dog world since her family purchased a gold cocker as a family pet. From that early start her "Corsair" kennels has enjoyed considerable success including titling in excess of 100 champions plus 13 Grand Champions- Cocker Spaniels, American Cocker Spaniles & Bichon Frise) Homebred & imported Cockers exhibited by Corsair have dominated the New Zealand show rings since the seventies some of which have become respected icons in the breed. Beth has had a long and extensive involvement in club administration and has been secretary of North Canterbury Kennel Assoc since 1991. The 2000 Annual Conference of Delegates saw her nominated to the NZKC Executive Council a position, which she enjoyed and privileged to hold on behalf of the membership, retiring in August 2005 to spend more time with her dogs, travelling and exhibiting. Judging has been rewarding and challenging to Beth's involvement to the dog world, commencing in 1978 that's if you don't count the hours of "make believe" after school in the backyard and culminating in gaining her All Breeds Licence in 2002. Appointments include extensive judging throughout New Zealand, Australia and Europe. Beth Warman had the pleasure of judging numerous Cocker Specialties. Lillydale Kennel Club assignment will be her first Gundog appointment in Melbourne.

I have bred many races amongst which I will especially mention the Pyrenees Mountain Dog (I was president of the Spanish club dealing with this race for 9 years), the West Highland White Terrier, the Smooth Fox Terrier, the Rottweiler, Dachshunds (Teckel) of various breeds, the Labrador Retriever, the minute Pinscher and the Pug. I have got several championship titles with some of these races, under the name of "Los Leones del Partal". Amongst the championships gotten include many Champions of Spain, of several European and American countries, as well as International and Worlds championships.

I regularly go the most important World Fairs, either as delegate, or as visitor. I breed and regularly show dogs at exhibitions, never having lost contact with all aspects of canophilia, namely breeder, exhibitor, spectator and judge.
