GROUP SEVEN - NON SPORTING
Katrina Santas
With my husband Brad, I breed/exhibit/trial Keeshonds and Boxers in conformation and endurance. I have been involved in the canine world since 1997 as an exhibitor and committee member of several specialty clubs. Throughout my years of exhibiting dogs, I have had the opportunity to handle most breeds in the Non Sporting ring to gain a better understanding of each breed. I gained my Non Sporting Judges licence in 2007 and breed under the Calivale prefix.

To date with my husband, we are the most successful Keeshond Kennel in Australia and New Zealand having bred and or exhibited over 70 Champions in five countries, 4 Grand Champions in two countries, 3 endurance champions, have provided the sire/dam to over 50 champion progeny, imported 6 Keeshond from across the globe and exported to 3 countries.

The majority of our Keeshonds that are exhibited in the confirmation show ring are multi All Breeds Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winners - a special honour that gives me pride in our breeding program. In more recent years I have also bred/exhibited/titled Whippets with our children Lauren and Lachlan.

Striving for excellence in type, temperament, conformation and health we understand the majority of our dogs are purchased by the general public for pets and thus aim to reduce the incidence of any hereditary and environmental diseases whilst aiming to provide the highest quality Keeshond in our breeding program for the competitive show ring.

I look forward to being your Non Sporting Judge at this year's Lilydale Pot of Gold Championship Show.
