Pointscore Results Guide

When calculating catalogue numbers, always have the following in mind ...

  • If you win a Best or Runner-Up in Show, you need to submit the total entry numbers for the Show.
  • If you win Best or Runner-Up in Group, you need to submit the total entry numbers for the Group.
  • In all cases, DO NOT DEDUCT the absentees, baby puppies or neuters. The points calculation is based on the number of entries listed as per the catalogue.
  • Submit the number of entries as per the catalogue, NOT the number of points that you should be awarded. The system will calculate the correct number of points you should be awarded for your win based on the number of entries as per the catalogue.

It is up to you to check how the catalogue for your particular show is formatted!
(Never assume the catalogue is in a certain format)

Single Day Show Catalogue Example

Single Show Catalogue

When a catalogue is similar to the above and all the catalogue numbers are sequential, it is reasonably straight forward to count the entries for the show or group (depending on your win).

Multiple Shows in One Catalogue Example

Multi Show Catalogue

When a catalogue is similar to the above and there is multiple days listed in the same catalogue, please ensure that you only count the entries for your particular day. It is not as simple as taking the last number from the catalogue as not all exhibits will be entered on each day. You must physically count the entries for the particular day of your win. For example in the highlighted catalogue above, there was only 4 entries on Friday (not 7).
