SHOW DOG OF THE YEAR 2007
POINTSCORE RULES
COMPETITION NOW CLOSED.
FINAL TALLY IS NOW ON SITE.
Winners will be contacted by the end of January
regarding despatch of certificates.
- The pointscore is split into a National, State, and Breed Competition for both the Show Dog of the Year and the Puppy of the Year competitions.
- Points are awarded for All Breeds Championship Shows and Specialty Breed Championship Shows held in Australia between 1/1/07 and 31/12/07. (For the purposes of this competition, the 'date' of a show is the date it actually commenced.)
- Results must be submitted within 30 days of the date of the show. (This rule will be relaxed until 31st March 2007 after which it will be strictly enforced. Bulk entries will be accepted for any shows up to that date)
- Final date for submission of results is 6th January 2008.
- Once an entry of a dog has been accepted into the competition, we will not remove the dog if requested to do so. (Please be certain that you wish to enter the dog before completing the application).
- Only the highest award per exhibit per show will be counted. A result however can be included in both the Show Dog of the Year and the Puppy of the Year competition if applicable.
- Incomplete results received will be rejected.
- It is up to the individual to check their dog's points tally for correctness. (You can easily check which shows have been recorded by clicking on the points tally link for any dog). Any errors or omissions should be immediately sent to us for correction. Should we later find the result is incorrect, the result from that show will be excluded from the tally.
- If an incorrect result is entered (especially in regards to catalogue numbers), we reserve the right to disqualify the result from that particular show from being included in the dog's points tally.
- If a dog has 4 results that have been disqualified due to incorrect information being submitted, we reserve the right the disqualify the dog in it's entirety from the competition (the dog will still be displayed in the tally but will have a disqualified notification next to it and no more results will be able to be entered for that dog).
- The following 2 rules apply to the State pointscores only.
- In the case of an exhibit moving states, the dog's 'resident state' for the purposes of the pointscore will be the state where it spent the greatest amount of time being shown (ie the majority of wins).
- Where points are won in a show held in a different state or territory to the dog's 'resident state', only the four best wins interstate will be counted (This only applies to the Show Dog of the Year competition, not the Puppy of the Year competition).
- Whilst all care is taken, Dogz Online Pty Ltd (and/or the Pointscore Sponsors) assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions that may occur in this competition. Points are tallied as per results received.
- We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time without notice to you.
- By submitting an entry to the Point Score competition, you indicate your acceptance of these rules and conditions.
