Details - We have recently been awarded the 5 Paws Best Pet Friendly Accommodation rating from Holidaying with Dogs. With our cosy beds, bowls and blankets set up inside, yummy home made doggie treats and even furniture covers for the couch potatoes among our furry guests, you win, hands down. Your mate will love the bushwalks from your door, a swim in the dam or a rest on the fully enclosable veranda out front of your cottage. Check out our website for more pet friendly details. We look forward to welcoming you and your best mate/s.

Details - We recently stayed at one of these cottages. Since the last review I think the property has changed hands but that is not a problem - Di is a wonderful host who loves dogs.

Aside from the welcome gifts mentioned by the previous reviewer, nice touches include quality cotten bed linen and the supplied couch cover if you have dogs that like couches (ours do). There was also a good selection of DVDs, a games cupboard with cards, puzzles and books and a folder filled with thorough info about the property (walks, yabbie fishing, etc.) plus tourist info for attractions in the region.

On a practical note you should be aware that the individual cottages aren't fenced - however the 4 cottages are quite some distance apart from each other. When let out our dogs tended to stay in the cleared area around our cabin, but we had to keep an eye on them in case they decided to wander. Occasionally they tried to venture up the dirt track but we quicky recalled them.

Each cottage has a verandah with a gate at each end, and dogs can be left locked in on the verandah if need be.

Each cottage has a wood BBQ. There is a gas BBQ in the communal area but this is quite some distance from the cottages - so in summer it might be easier to take food to cook in the fairly well equipped kitchen in your cottage. The communal area is also fairly close to where the alpacas are kept - so if you have a dog interested in livestock...

Overall this was a fantasic dog friendly place to stay. I would highly recomend it.
