Details - Pub Hill Farm is 8km out of Narooma on a river bend giving a peaceful outlook on the river.
We've been to this B&B 3 times over 8 years, and loved it each time.
There is a choice of "the Croft" (a small log cabin), 2 rooms in the house or the queen suite
I had peace of mind with the 2 acres around the house being fenced.
Rating - (Out of a possible 5 ... 5 being excellent)

Details - We are very sorry that DORRO found wet cushions on the seats of the outside chairs...one word to us and we would have immediately given them clean and dry ones. We do not allow our Borders to sit on chairs but with the best will in the world they DO sometimes get up there when we are out.
Also sorry DORRO found our rooms "dated". The decor is changed in all our rooms every four to five years and that decor is in keeping with a casual country atmosphere. Most guests comment that the rooms are attractively decorated and furnished, but of course decor is subjective and one cannot please everyone.

Details - I stayed at pub hill a while ago, the rooms were very clean but dated, the breakfast was a true feast. It was a nice quiet place , very peaceful. The only thing I could fault was the free range border collies, we would have liked to sit outside our room on the porch in the chairs provided but there were 2 very wet dogs sitting in them, they were nice dogs but I'm not going to sit on a wet seat.

Details - Our dogs (an Afghan and a Saluki) love this place. They get on really well with the hosts' border collies who are incredibly well socialised. It's peaceful, and a wonderful place to get in some tai chi or reading or walking overlooking the river inlet. The owners really "get" dogs. Definitely highly recommended.

Details - Well, our owners were worried about how we would behave with the other dogs and it turned out the owner's dogs were more naughty than us. We felt the place was promoted as being on the river and it turned out it wasn't. The breakfast was a communal breakfast at the same table in the main house which is great if you want to socialise but my Mum & Dad just wanted to get away from people and having to socialise with snooty Canberra people would not have been their first choice.

Details - My name is Billy and I am an 18 month old Airedale Terrier. I visited Pub Hill Farm August 2003 and I have never had so much fun and freedom ever! mainly because I am a city dog. I played on 2 enclosed acres with my doggy friends and I visited "Dog Free" beaches each day, that was fun too. My owners just loved the accommodation, the beautiful view and the delicious home cooked breakfast each morning and the wonderful hospitality. None of us wanted to come back to the city life. My owner felt so relaxed knowing I could play and have fun and not "take-off" I was really safe. I want to visit again, those border collies were so much fun to play with. We also loved vsiting the surrounding areas, like Tilba Tilba, Bega, Mogo and Mogo Zoo.

Details - I visited Pub Hill Farm in October 2000 and absolutely LOVED it!!! I could run around the fenced property and was allowed to stay inside with my owners. I had a great time playing with the other doggy visitors and visiting the dog-friendly beaches nearby. My owners loved the big cooked breakfast each morning as well! I hope we go back there soon!
