Split Solitary Beach Holiday Park, NSW

Accommodation Name - Split Solitary Beach Holiday Park
Location - Coffs Harbour, NSW (Split Solitary Park Road)
Contact Details - (02) 6653 6212
Web Site - http://www.splitsolitarycaravanpark.com
Type of Accommodation - Caravan/Camping Ground

Details - A well-appointed cabin with ensuite toilet and shower, TV, stove fridge, double bed plus 3 bunks, deck with outdoor furniture cost me $30 per night for 4 nights. Other facilities include family BBQ areas, games room, laundry, pool, do-it-yourself carwash slab.

Dogs allowed in your own caravan (I was in a campervan so the dog nominally slept in the van while I used the cabin). Dogs must be on a lead, cleaned up after and kept under control at all times.

Park is right at the end of the road with direct access to the beach which was well populated with dogs on the Sunday but virtually deserted on the following three days.

Rating - No rating given  (Out of a possible 5 ... 5 being excellent)

Details - Excellent little caravan park right on beach front. Cabins are very modern, clean and comfortable. Dogs weren't a problem. Very helpful and polite host. Definitely recommend.

Details - We stayed here in May 2006 and were only one of two families camping in the non powered section. Ducks and ducklings waddling up to the steps of the camper kept "the girls" entertained. Lots of room along the lagoon and great beach to go strolling along. Will definately return if in the area again.

Details - This Park has just got new young(ish)energetic managers. The amenities were freshly painted, the gardens were looking great (after all the rain??)and they were friendly and helpful.

There were also dogs running free along the beach and the path to the headland (with their panting owners). Did I see a Council sign ??

Dogs are not allowed in on-site accommodation, which is also non smoking. There were 8 new "villas" or deluxe cabins and lots of dogs among the caravaners.

Close to town but quiet and peaceful. Recomend
