I was 7 years old when I owned my first pure bred Cattle Dog. I am now well into retirement and I spend countless hours with my dogs and needless to say love this breed. My breeding stock is from renowned bloodlines, that exhibit strength in bone and head, have excellent temperament and quality. I breed for the old style cattle dog, not the "fine", "kelpie type" that has been fashioned for the show ring. My clients inevitabily become my friends as they also experience the bonding with an Australian Cattle Dog.

Our beautiful girls are wonderful dogs, fantastic with my children, they are very loving and gentle. They are also terrific guard dogs always letting you know if a stranger is about and they are good workers on our farm. All my girls have good conformation, colour and are very intelligent and obedient, whether it is fetching a ball, working cattle, socialising with other dogs or resting by the tent when camping, this making them versatile companions. We have decided to breed these girls because of these characteristics. Puppies will be suitable for working farms, showing, family pets and those wanting a guard dog.
My females are PLL 'A' (clear) and PRA 'A' (clear). Our own stud dog is PLL 'A' (clear) & PRA 'A' (clear).

Australian Cattle dogs, especially the red's, have always been in my family and have always resided on the back door step for the past 30 + years. Growing up they were always by our side and often steered us kids away from trouble on the farm. Dad would say that he knew where us kids were, because the dog was there and on many occasions, lucky they were! This breed is one of the most loyal and loving family dogs you could have, but like all working breeds they need family time, attention, training and exercise. We very rarely breed a litter, but when we do, its for all the right reasons.
At Wyhandoo, we breed for soundness of type, and temprement is paramount.
I have a personal love of Reds and they will always be at the forefront in my breeding, but a good dog, is just that regardless of coat color.
I have now added a beautiful blue mottled male to my breeding stock, Au Ch Pureheel Jack Frost. He is Pra A and Pll Clear, with full dentition, he is available at stud to ANKC registered breeders only.

Located in High Camp Victoria near the Historic Town of Kilmore Gooderah Stud Farm has been successfully breeding Australian Stock Horses and Cattle Dogs for over 40 years.
We currently also run Australian White / Doper Cross sheep which all our dogs and pups are exposed to.
So all our breeding is based on the need for well mannered intelligent dogs that can not only work stock but be a valuable part of the family and farm life.
We do not actively show our dogs mainly due to our very busy work lives. However they come from a very strong and successful Show background dating back over 50 years through Turrella Stud(NSW) and Dyamatan Stud (Qld).
We will have very limited litters available from time to time from our current dogs.
