Our Basenjis are Best in Specialty Show, Best in Show, Multi Classes in Show, Best in Group and Class in Group winners. In the QLD Basenji Speciality In 2017, our boy Demon 'Aust Ch Remwin Wildaboutharry' took out the Best in Show.
Our dogs have done us proud in the show ring and in their wonderful family homes. Their loving temperaments and ability in the show ring and their steadiness under stress and trying times makes them great home companions and family pets.
All our dogs are cleared for PRA and Fanconi via parentage and cleared by DNA profile.
All our pups are ANKC registered and DNA tested with Orivet to prove parentage and every new owner is provided with a care package of information and dietary requirements.
From two weeks of age, our basenji babies are wormed every fortnight.
At 6 weeks of age, they are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and health tested by a registered veterinarian. We implement crate training and desensitisation to other dogs, cats and children. Our pups are handled from a very early age to ensure we raise friendly, inquisitive basenjis and to distinguish their temperaments so we can place them with the best homes possible.

The name Wuliango means "little village dog" in Zandee. Our Breeding program is focused on health, temperament, conformance and, selecting Basenjis breeding pairs who have close African gene lines.
Our foundation male Basenjis are:
CH. Wuliango Sweet Dandelion (AI) 3/4 African bred Basenji. Sire: Am CH.CH Kibushi Nyanga Sweet Snapdragon (Imp USA). Dam: Kibishi Poppy of Yamboka (Imp USA). Red & White. PRA and Fanconi tested as clear. Gene colour tested as a Prue for Red. Hip tested under PenHip and AVA testing schemes. Tested under ACS eye testing scheme.
Avongara Akua 1st generation African Basenji imported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2011. Red & White. PRA and Fanconi tested as clear. Tested under the ACS eye testing scheme. Akua is registered with the African Stock Project, the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Australian National Kennel club (ANKC). All Basenjis with "Avongara" in their name identifies them as being registered foundation stock Basenjis from Africa.
Wuliango Basenjis are well socialised and tested for: Fanconi, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), and have general eyes tests under the Australian Canine Eye Scheme.

Glamcurls is our small kennel located in Brisbane Qld. We raise, socialise and provide our Basenjis the diversity of life experiences in our family home so they are healthy and happy canine family members.
Jodie has been involved in Basenjis living with and exhibiting them since childhood. Craig grew up actively showing & breeding Shelties and after meeting Jodie shares her love of the unique and beautiful Basenji.
Having established our life in QLD; we now have the lifestyle to commit to our breeding program. Our goal is to ‘breed for beautiful temperaments, outstanding type, health, and soundness’ in our Basenjis. We are consciously working with long time breeders whose knowledge and experience in the breed we admire.
We own, trained & actively show “Vegas” Supreme Ch Zandeena Getn Ya Game On. Vegas is the youngest Supreme Champion and currently the most successful Basenji in Australian history. Champion Zandeena I was Hiding joined us as our foundation bitch at 12 months of age. “Heidi” has a beautiful temperament and wonderful breed type and is successful in her own right as a show dog.
Our breeding basenjis are DNA Health tested, Hip Scored, Fanconi tested with health testing results available on request.

After a lifetime in the dog world my daughter got her first basenji 5 years ago this delightful quirky breed has firmly stamped themselves on our hearts our first basenji litter produced a Best In Group, multi class in show winning champion and our second litter this year has been taking us on a exciting ride with 13 x Baby Puppy In Groups and 3x Baby Puppy In Shows from there first 5 weeks in the ring can't wait to see what happens next !
