Considered a newbie of the breed, I got my first Basenji in 2012, a black and white boy Kanibaru Black Cherry Truffle – Neo, and immediately fell in love with the unusual and captivating breed.
I have since acquired two beautiful Red & White Basenjis in 2017, Zandeena Cards R on the Table – Obi and Zandeena Breakin With Tradition -Sala, and so then loved two more. All three have been titled to Australian Champions in Tasmania.
As I love this breed so much, my goal is to show everyone else how wonderful they are, making loving, funny, family companions, bed/couch buddies for everyone to enjoy, whether they are destined to be pets or for the show ring, or even other Dog Sports. They are very intelligent and will have you trained in no time, but please do your homework when considering this primitive breed. My dogs all live inside with me and are a part of my pack.
