KIM HADDON has been breeding, showing, carting and obedience
training dogs since 1973. ZEIGEN KENNELS are founders of the BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG in Australia since 1984.

Dedicated to improving longivity and soundness, we have selectively Imported Bernese direct from Switzerland, Sweden, Russia and other countries, to combine with our very sound homebred Bernese, enabling us to breed large, strong moving Bernese and puppies with happy, healthy, loving and loyal temperaments.

ZEIGEN KENNELS have long been known for producing the Top Soundness Producing sires in Australasia and for this reason Zeigen bred dogs have formed the foundation to many well known Kennels throughout Australia, New Zealand and abroad.

Based in Brisbane, we have been involved with Bernese Mountain Dogs for many years. All our dogs are hip and elbow xrayed and scored, DM tested, vWD tested and DNA tested before being used for breeding.

We no longer keep a wait list for puppies, if we have pups available we will call for expressions of interest on our Karleken Facebook Page.

Azzabern Kennels has been home to the Bernese Mountain Dog since the early 90's, and have been breeding and showing since 2007. Located near Brisbane, QLD, where we are home to the 1st Supreme Champion Bernese in Australia with another Supreme and Grand Champion dog. We have also bred multiple Australian Champion dogs. Also home to Best In Show Specialty and Best In Show All Breeds dogs.

Azzabern Kennels strive to improve on our foundation line through the multiple imported dogs from around the world with more to come. Breeding for soundness of mind and body, we carefully select combinations before any matings, and part of this is hip and elbow scoring on all our breeding dogs.
