Kyntaf Border Collies is a small kennel that is successfully represented in the Showring, Obedience, Agility,Tracking and Herding. Kyntaf dogs are also active in Pets as Therapy and Community pet days.

We only breed occasionally and whilst trying to breed the ideal border collie do ensure that all dogs used in the Kyntaf breeding program are hip and elbow scored, have had a complete DNA profile done and had physical eye tests.

Expressions of Interest are now being taken for our next litter due end September. As well as appropriate heath testing both parents have exceptional temperaments with a desire to be and work with you as well as an off switch for downtime. Pups will be suitable for a variety of dog sports, eg agility, rallyo, tricks etc. and will fit into a family with the right environment provided, ie exercise, training and time.

We live on 8 acres on the Mid North Coast of NSW, and breed specifically for pups with a quieter style, family orientated temperament.
My Borders have full Breed DNA profiles done to ensure that none of our pups can be affected by CL, CEA, TNS, Raines Syndrome, Glaucoma, Ivermectin Sensitivity and all other diseases/issues that Border Collies can be prone to.
Our pups and dogs are raised with our family and other animals and are beautiful intelligent loving dogs. They are quieter style dogs & very family orientated. Our dogs/puppies are with us in our family home environment and are much loved family members and puppies live inside with us. Puppies have basic toilet training, know how to come when called and basic Crate Training before they leave us at 8 weeks and have lots of fun, interaction & exercise as well.
Pups are able to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old and we personally deliver at 8 weeks from our home to as far south as Kiama included in cost of your puppy, we can organise transport to other destinations on request. We like to deliver our pups personally (where possible) as this helps the puppies to have the smoothest and easiest transition to their new families and also means we get to meet each other!!

Myworks Border Collies evolved from a 40 year involvement with the breed. My dogs have been much loved not only during my ownership from my teenage years but later by my growing family. They have been affectionate companions to our children over many years.

My dogs are rarely entered in shows but spend most of their time in activities such as obedience training. We have also done some agility and dancing. This breed like to be busy and involved in your life. I have always found it mutually rewarding participating in activities that see us working together with a high level of communication that this intelligent breed respond to so strongly.

Over the last 25 years I have bred the occasional litter of puppies which are reared in a loving home environment. I take a "no compromise" approach to selecting the temperament of the dogs I use for breeding and always seek to breed for physical soundness & quality. All dogs used for breeding are hip & elbow scored. They are also DNA tested for NCL, TNS & CEA to ensure the pups will never have these conditions. I am highly selective of the homes to which my pups go, endeavouring to ensure that the right pup goes to the right home to be loved for the duration of it's life. Borderwayridge is home for my beautifull 12 border collies, they are raised and living on 200acres of property in Eungella, near Mackay, living around cattle, horses and children. My foundation pair lived to the grand age of 18 and 19 years and majority of my dogs are decendents from these 2 beautiful old pair. I love my collies and treat them as my best friends. I have black/whites, choc/white's , black/ tri's, chocolate tri's, red/whites , blue/white and sables. I have puppies through-out the year, my dogs all have beautiful natures lovely confirmation and very polite manners.and not of the hypo type. Very calm and placid. They all get on with each other beautifully. All dogs are dna tested prior to breeding and I don't breed from any of my girls until the age of 2. Puppies are wormed fortnightly, vaccinated , micro-chipped and registered on limited or main to selected new owners., fed home meals plus dry. I will fly puppies and can arrange flights for new owners.
