Towsytyke has been involved with this breed for 44 years. For the past 23 years we have concentrated on breeding from English/American bloodlines. The combination of these bloodlines is renowned for producing Cairns of 'medium' size, with carrot tails , broad heads with deep 'stops' and dark, oval shaped eyes. The ears are small and well placed.

We have champion Australian & International bloodlines & are producing healthy, happy cairns with excellent temperaments. All pups are Liver Shunt (PSS) tested, VWD free, patella tested, health checked, dew claws removed, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped, well socialised & are paper trained before joining their new family at 9-10 wks.

Emeraldcity carefully plans each litter & we focus on quality. Puppies are well socialised in an urban home environment & we individually assess each pups temperament. You are welcome to participate in the temperament assessment of a litter to help match the right puppy to their new family.

Puppy cost includes pedigree papers, all health tests & a guarantee of health, 3 specialised cairn grooming tools & grooming information, health records & feeding info, puppy food & bowl, puppy blanket & toys they have used (helps with their transition to new home) & the first groom of your puppy by 6mths. We provide follow up support & advice, & cairn grooming is available.

BARRAGAN CAIRNS
We have been breeding and exhibiting Cairn Terriers since 2005. During that time we have had great success in the show ring with our dogs. We are to date the only breeders in Australia of a Supreme Ch bitch. 2019 saw us breed no.1 Terrier in Hawaii. So far we have bred 1 x Supreme, 1 x Am Grand, 1 x NZ & 17 Aust Champions.
All our puppies are bile acid tested prior to leaving us.
Our aim is to produce sound, typey Cairns of correct size with harsh coats that will win under both specialists and all rounders.

Joymont Cairn Terriers from the leafy suburbs of Ashburton in Melbourne has consistantly been the most successful kennel in Australia.

In the last 40 years Joymont has produced 28 Grand Champions 12 Supreme Champions and over 130 Champions here in Australia and overseas. We have 20 multiple Best in Show winners and many Royal Group winners as well as a Best in Show winner at the Canberra Royal. This is a first for a Cairn in Australia.

Cathy's many years of judging in Australia and overseas as well as continual visits to top kennels and International top shows has enabled her to keep Breed Type, and quality uppermost in her breeding program. Gartferry is a small Kennel overlooking the Otago harbour in the South Island of New Zealand and aims to breed for type, temperament, size, betterment and function of the breed.

Our cairns are consistent winners in the show ring and carry Luton, Craiglyn, Larchlea, Penticharm, Oudenarde and some of the famous old "Redletter" lines.

I have had Cairns from the mid 1970's as I love their attitude, character and personality. Being part of the family they are so adaptable to the different situations of my grandchildren and elderly parents.

They are a big dog in a small body.

The Cairn terrier is such a versatile dog in that they love to romp around but they also like their quiet time, they are inquisitive and endearingly mischievous you just can’t help but fall in love with a Cairn as I did.

My aim is to breed true to type Cairns that will make a wonderful companion as well as having the potential to succeed in the show ring.

Puppies are available from time to time to caring loving homes – all pups offered for sale are wormed, vaccinated, micro chipped and vet checked including liver shunt tested and you will receive a care booklet which includes the pups personal details including photos, parents details and general care and grooming details. The pups will go to their new home with food for a few days of their current diet to make the change less stressful.

Welcome to Braerose Cairn Terriers!

After a number of years, fostering and adopting a variety of dogs, I was lucky enough to be introduced to the Cairn Terrier breed.

This delightful breed absolutely loves people, particularly children, and they are ready for any adventure or journey you would like to go on. Very playful, a bit cheeky and viewing life as a never ending party. What’s not to love!

My aim is to bring this joy to other families, breeding for temperament, good health whilst maintaining the breed standard.

Puppies are raised in a family environment, well socialised and temperament tested. All pups are liver shunt (PSS) tested, health checked, vaccinated, microchipped and paper trained. Puppies will come with ongoing support and advice, grooming maintenance kit, information booklet, pedigree papers and their first puppy groom for free. Any further grooming is available at very reasonable rates.

I am a registered breeder with Dogs ACT and an active committee member of the Cairn Terrier Club NSW. I am fortunate to be mentored by Ginnette Loft, Emeraldcity Cairn Terriers, working to preserve and promote this wonderful breed. Missy has gone out to take out multi Best and Runner up in Groups, Missy also gained her Neutered Championship & Multi Best Neuter in Show

Ch. Kirkcairn Ella Fitzgerld & litter brother Ch. Kirkcairn Satchmo are MBNG winners. Kailee took out Puppy bitch class at the 2003 Sydney Royal and Tazz winning Puppy dog class and taking out Cairn puppy at 2003 Sydney Royal. Kailee son Ch Kirkcairn Sgt Pepper (Gaddy) is a MIG winner & has gained his Neutered Champion title n winning Multi Best Neuter in Show

Ch. Kirkcairn Sassy Sorrel's daughter-Ch Towsytyke Penny Pitstop took out 2003 & 2004 B/Ch at Sydney Royal & 2003 Vic.Cairn Show along with opposite bred
