We started showing and breeding Chihuahua's in 1982. We are breeders of long and smooth coated Chihuahuas in Adelaide, South Australia. Our aim from the start has been and still is to breed soundness and good temperaments into our dogs. We are not an overly large Kennel and breed for Quality not Quantity. We breed mainly for the Show ring but do have puppies for sale sometimes as pets. Enquiries are most welcome.

Here at Kuchukopek we breed for the Show Ring only.
We strive to improve the Breed, occasionally we have Puppies that are not suitable for Showing.
Our dogs go to their new homes from 3 months onward after we have decided which are suitable for Showing. The puppies that do not make the grade and sometimes older dogs are sold as Pets.


Our Kennel Prefix means a lot to us and we value our honesty and integrity.
We do not like to sell Puppies at 8 weeks as we cannot guarantee what they will turn out like in regard to type, temperament and size for the Show ring, and as pets if someone is looking for a "Specific" looking Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are known to go through many changes while growing. What might be a beautiful baby could change while growing, and vice versa.

I started showing Chihuahuas approximately in 2002, and bred my first litter in 2004 under the PELISCHA prefix. During that time I have titled many Chihuahuas, including Grand Champions, and Supreme Champion. I am pleased to say that I have won the top Long Coat Chihuahua as awarded by The WA Chihuahua Club since 2005, and many top Smooth Coat also.
“Ollie”, Supreme Ch./NZ Ch. El Toro Chips Off Old Block(Imp NZ), now a veteran, has achieved many great wins including Best In Show Specialty Shows,multiple All Breeds Best In Show & multiple Runner Up Best In Show. “Ollie’s” highlight of his show career was being awarded Best in Show at the 2012 8th Chihuahua National held in Brisbane of a quality field of entries, both long and smoothcoats. Many of our other dogs won awards at the same show, with all nine of them being placed, winning best of breed, runner up best of breed & in show awards.
Ollie also won the 9th Australian Chihuahua National in 2014.
PELISCHA is situated in Southern River in WA and we pride ourselves on breeding high quality Chihuahuas, both longcoat and smoothcoat.

At EEVYON, we are a small devoted Show Home of both Long and Smooth coats, and our dogs are a part of the family, first and foremost. Yes, they have full run of the house! EEVYON is named so, because of the Pokemon EEVEE and her "evolutions" for 2 reasons; firstly to remind me that when my Team and I are out there in the show ring, we are out there to have FUN! And secondly Pokemon means "pocket monster". what more do I need to say *GRIN*

My breeding program strives to produce and augment physical soundness and enhance the saucy assertive temperament that is characteristic of this beautiful breed, but with training and socialising, some manners are developed. This ensures all my dogs are friendly and confident in their individual personalities, and are devoted to their chosen loved ones at home.

We are very select as to what is shown and bred, so unfortunately some puppies will never see the show ring. We ask that families have the time and love to provide these beautiful babies with a secure and stable home. Being a "show home" we do not believe it is fair that the "show team" gets to spend the day out, while the "pet pack" stays at home. However we have a vigorous screening process to ensure our babies get the best start to their new life, and ensure that the family is right for the dog.

I am a registered breeder and exhibitor of long and smooth coated Chihuahua's located here in Perth, WA. I am privileged to hold the current position of VP for The WA Chihuahua Club as well as the position of Secretary to the National Chihuahua Council (Aust) since December 2018.

It’s safe to say Chihuahua’s are my passion as I have been exhibiting for over a decade with great success titling dogs of my own breeding as well as campaigning and titling for others.

Chintaro is dedicated in its program to produce Chihuahua’s that display all the hallmarks of the breed with health, temperament, movement, and construction, being of the utmost of importance. It is for the above reasons that I have also imported dogs from the UK, Czech Republic and NZ.

All my show dogs have been tested for the Merle gene, have a 6x6 scissor bite, and are Patella Certified with a score of PL 0/0.

I will have the occasional puppy or older adult available.

I have always loved this breed and started breeding these little darlings just over 18 years ago now.I started out with just 2 smoothcoats and like every other chihuahua lover ended up with lots more over the years. I now breed both long and smooth coats ranging in a variety of colours and markings. I breed for the love of the breed and to better it nothing else.With every mating it is carefully selected for a certain look trying to improve the breed by producing better quality pups each litter with only using top quality lines to create my own fureverchi line for the show ring and family pet.All my dogs and puppies are very well socialized and are all handled from birth I put a lot of time and dedication into breeding these beautiful babies.
