We have been very lucky to import some lovely dogs from Cathkin kennels in Australia starting with our tri boy NZ Ch Cathkin Lastinimpression (Imp Aus) who made a very lasting impression on us and he sired our first home bred champion Ch Lastin-Blaize of Collievale.
The last couple of years has seen us consolidate on our other imports - NZ Ch Strathaven Maker of Dreams (Imp Aus) (Atlas), NZ Ch Cathkin Pretty Spectacular (Imp Aus) (Xena) and NZ Ch Cathkin Lordy Miss Maudie (Imp Aus) (Maudie)

With the great success we have had with our Keeshonden, Kahnhond has branched into a second breed with dogs from one of the most respected Collie Rough breeders in the country. With success at the EKKA (Qld Royal Show), the Melbourne Royal Show, the 2017 Collie National Show (Qld), and specialty shows, the quality of our Collies can not be disputed.

Trefoilian Collies are located on the Northern Tablelands close to Armidale, NSW. We specialise in blue merle and tricolour collies. Our collies have earned champion and obedience titles. They are bred for soundness, both physically and mentally. They enjoy a rural lifestyle, clean air, while spending much time inside the house as part of the family.

Our champion stud dog, Ch. YIELD TO NONE NERO DI CAMBIANO, is imported from the famous Cambiano kennels in Italy and is a blue-bred tricolour. "Pasta" is CEA clinically clear (+/- by DNA test) and has an excellent hip and elbow score ( HD-A Elbows 0/0). He is a son of the famous International Champion and Top Stud Dog "PIAF" - Int. Ch. One Extraordinary Blu di Cambiano. Both dogs were bred by Maria Teresa Garabelli in Italy.

Chamingtn Collies is a small kennel based in Camden NSW breeding and showing the beautiful Collie Rough in all 3 colours. First and foremost our dogs are members of our family. They our loved by us, our children’s best friends and enjoy coming along on family beach trips. In breeding we aim is to breed for type, quality, soundness and especially fantastic temperaments. Our focus is to breed healthy family dogs with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our loving family home and around our children - as parents we know how important this is. Our breeding dogs are eye-tested by a canine ophthalmologist and hip/elbow scored. All puppies are eye-tested, vaccinated, vet checked and go to their new homes with basic training using the puppy culture program as our base. Our dogs have exceptional backgrounds and we thank all the breeders behind them who some have been great mentors to me. We provide a lifetime of support to our puppy owners. Passionately showing our dogs, we have titled both our bitches as New Zealand Champions.
Our first litter was born June 2023 and we are enjoying having the girl we retained being competitive in the show ring.

Jedford Collies is located in Laggan, a small rural village just outside Crookwell, NSW. Our collies have the pleasure of acres of free running on our property. While we at Sunshard do breed the occasional litter focusing on health, temperament, and type our main focus is trialling in the performance ring. For this reason we rarely have puppies.

When we do have puppies they are bred and raised with performance sports in mind. They are socialised and receive enrichment from birth and we offer support and assistance to our puppy people whenever it is required and we always love to hear how they are going. Our dogs are housed and raised in the home enviroment.

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored and DNA tested for CEA, MRD1 and DM.
